This is what I was waiting for. Almost ordered some strelbooks from deepdiscount that may be slightly cheaper at Target with b2g1

I placed an order at Target last Thursday and got a shipped notification email with a tracking number the same day.

Flash forward 4 days later and the tracking number is still sitting at "Label Created" on both the Target order page and on FedEx's website.

Was my order actually shipped/picked up by FedEx yet, or should I be worried?

Has anyone experienced anything like this with Target before?

Once again, patience pays off, knew they would have this again like last year. I buy many movies and music during this sale so i always pass on the B1G1 50% off because B2G1Free is the better savings overall especially for large orders. My cart is already to go.

Yes, even with DD 15% off coupons, the Target B2G1F usually if not always beats them, especially if you have Red card. Target ships superior faster than DD as well. I still order from DD from time to time as sometimes they carry quite a few titles that Target does not.

How is Target when returning unopened movies in store? I have a handful of discs I got in the B1G50 sale that remain unopened that I'm considering returning to repurchase again in the B1G1 sale to save a bit more money. All are still well within the return window. Does Target give any grief for these kinds of returns or is it pretty straightforward?

I can't remember how I got through the last time. Just keep saying operator or hitting "0". Ignore everything else. That usually works with those loops. That said, I've been dealing with FedEx mis-deliveries for over a year. Their real-person phone support has been an absolute farce too. They just pretend to help, but never do anything they say they'll do. Maybe they get too many impatient "where's my package" calls to take the more legit concerns seriously, as they usually recommend you contact the shipper, insinuating they'll do more if a request comes from them.

I've never had a problem returning or exchanging opened, defective, damaged movies in store. Though, Target has a history of banning online accounts, without affecting a shoppers store privileges, which some people here have reported being banned just for buying the same title twice. And since they don't sell many movies at brick-and-mortar anymore, if you value their bogos, one should be leery of abusing their system with too many returns, especially just to go from a great deal to a slightly better great deal. Free returns are never free for the vendor. I can't remember if it's a federal or state thing, and I'm not sure it applies to all products, but it's even illegal to resell an unopened return as brand new. Which may be why people used to report seeing unopened movies marked down in target's bargain area instead of back on display in the movie section, and why some walmarts open sealed items upon return instead of leaving them sealed.

It's just like returning something you bought in store. You take the item in, they give you your money back. They don't give you any BS unless it is opened but said they weren't so you'll be fine.

in preparation for the sale, I put 3 shout factory items in my cart, 2 preorders, and am being charged $2 for shipping, even though the T&Cs say free shipping over $35.

is this because the items in stock are under $35? Didn't realize that. That sucks.

It should be order total
Maybe it doesn’t add the discount until you go through the process just before hitting order or send.
Also shipping is free with a target card
