Was the Pirates of the Carribean Promo Pack for $7.99 taken off the Store? It came out a month ago TODAY and I can't find it. I've tried searching for it and it still doesn't come up. They never said it was for a limited time, so I didn't buy it right away...

I suppose I'll have to check in-game to see if it shows up.


EDIT: Not there. Looks like I'll be buying the just the level pack then.

What are you talking about by "promo pack"? The costumes? I see those in the store. And if you are, they came out 1 year and 1 month ago today. 13 months.

The promo pack came with the levels and the costumes for $7.99. That came out on December 21, 2010 (according to the PS Blog post).

That's what I was afraid of. I ended up buying the level pack so oh well.

Yeah there was a pack with the costumes and the levels in one for $7.99. I got it luckily, I looked the next day and it was gone

It is an end of an era for multiple LittleBigPlanet games. Sony announced that the servers for LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2, and LittleBigPlanet 3 on the PS3 and the Vita version of LittleBigPlanet have been shutdown. This means no access to community levels or multiplayer. The PS4 version of LittleBigPlanet 3 is unaffected, and instead patch 1.27 launched and restored service.

This comes after the LittleBigPlanet servers as a whole were shut down on May 24, 2021 following attacks by hackers and DDOS attacks. Prior to that, they were temporarily taken offline on March 12, 2021 to deal with similar situations.

Here is the full statement from the official Twitter account.

First, we would like to apologize for the extended downtime of the LittleBigPlanet server and want to thank you all for your patience whilst we worked on this issue.

The good news is that we have just launched Game Update 1.27 and brought the LittleBigPlanet server (and all 10,000,000+ Community Levels!!) back online for PlayStation 4 users!

Unfortunately, we need to permanently shut down our online services for: LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS3) and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.

We have no doubt that this news will come as a big disappointment to a lot of you, ultimately this is the best way to protect the LittleBigPlanet community and to help ensure that our online environment remains safe.

Thank you for being a wonderful community and for your continued love and support of all things Sackboy.
