I didn't think Alaric would be the one to kill Elijah, that really surprised me. Katherine getting out of the Tomb was to be expected though but maybe not this early. At least I thought she would stay there until Klaus got to her.

But it really sucks that Bonnie lost her powers. I thought the witches and warlocks were supposed to help each other out or something?

Elijah will definitely show up again, likely when Katherine needs him or something for a worse threat. To resurrect him you just pull out the stake.

They got all these rules that's hard to keep track. Hehe. I don't know if they make them up as the series go along. Like, how will Bonnie regain her powers (which I'm sure she will). I'm glad Elijah's gone (for now). They should decapitate him. Will that do it or will he grow another head if they pull the dagger?

Wow! Another freakin' good episode! One of my favorites of the season! Katherine and Elena both in action-- more Nina the better!

And wasn't expecting that final shot-- can't wait for the next episode-- in another month?! Long wait!

I haven't been watching the show hardly at all this season, I def. prefer the books. There were some changes made that really bug me. I'll probably watch some of them on hulu and see if I like it better than the first season. Katherine seems pretty cool though from what I have seen of her.

I only got to see the first 35 minutes of the episode, that's the last time I trust the in-house DVR crap, from now on I'm recording my shows to my DVDs.

I'm currently single without children and Supernatural will be on for my grandchildren.

This season has been streets ahead of season one. I am actually very very surprised by how much I like season two. I actually never know what is coming next. Very very rare for network tv.

The nice thing about the show is that the writers are not afraid of dumping a character and killing them off. That adds a bit of drama to a show on network television, where it usually seems like once a character becomes established that they are immortal and untouchable. They introduced werewolves, most of them were killed off. They introduce warlocks, dead just as they were becoming regular characters. It's a nice change from the standard plot.

Is there a single show out there that you don't hate, yet still watch just so you can b*tch about it? lol. I love the idea of watching a CW show and complaining about logistics and the such.

I don't hate every single show and don't watch with the intention of b*tching but some things are just handled so shitty i am forced to make observations. There are so many ways things that can be handled better but everything is dumbed down for the current teeny generation. Forgive me for not buying into the spoon fed masses.

That adds a bit of drama to a show on network television, where it usually seems like once a character becomes established that they are immortal and untouchable. They introduced werewolves, most of them were killed off. They introduce warlocks, dead just as they were becoming regular characters. It's a nice change from the standard plot.
