I went to a store called Manifest Discs & Tapes that is local to the Carolinas and has only 2 locations that I know of, one in Charlotte NC and the other about 10 to 15 miles from me in good old Columbia SC. I traded in a bunch of DVDs and a few Blus I regretted getting and got enough store credit to get these two beauties that I had been dancing around for a while. No more dancing around these two, but there are others I continue to boogie around.

[Show spoiler]

The first thing that crossed my mind when I got a good look at the Star Wars book package was that it's a good thing indeed that Blus are notoriously scratch resistant. It's a pretty package still though. And I love the On Stranger Tides 3D lenticular slip. That thing is gorgeous and atmospheric. Me like it like that. So that is it for me today.

Spider-Man blu's from Amazon
DVD's from a closing Blockbuster for $1.99 each

I've heard good things about Boy Wonder so I'm glad I found it. As for Trespass, it's Nic Cage being Nic Cage (I hope) and that's really all I ask.

Ohhhhh! That would explain why I found an FYE exclusive steelbook DVD for G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra there. I like them too for the simple reason that they can get in some titles that other stores have long since stopped carrying. However, the Columbia one has gotten pretty spotty with their unused Blu release section. They will sell what they have of one movie and then it will not be replaced. I bought Nights In Rodanthe (complete with attractive slip) last year when I first upgraded to Blu and they have yet to get any sort of replacement for it. The spot is still there, but no Blu. It would be interesting to drive up to the Charlotte one one day and see if there selection is a little better kept. Most likely as Charlotte is a much bigger economic center than Bush River Road in Columbia.
