Well to be more precise, I'm in the room after you pull those 2 levers in the saw room with the saws going from one side to the next vertically and horizontally. And the room I'm in has one lever in front of a statue holding a ball that I can't pull because it's broken or something.

[Show spoiler] ohhh i gotcha, before you go into the room with the statue of atlas, you have to go through the saw room to the other side, there is a door there and you have to go out and climb some walls and stuff to get to the lever, its in a room where you have to fight some soldiers and sirens and if you take too long, the floor will fall out from under you, so be quick!, then you get the lever and can go back, and use it in the crank in front of the statue of atlas

It would have been nice, certainly. But in order to do it properly they probably would have had to pull people from Santa Monica away from GoW III development to try to recreate those scenes. Hopefully if the lusted-for Team ICO games are remastered in the future, a solution can be found to maintain video quality across the board.

Ok, gotcha....I think I get it: the scenes were filmed, using the graphics at the time, so theres no way to slap a remaster on this, to match the remastered HD gameplay....too bad. It detracts a little, but only a little...Thanks

Any more help on GoW where

[Show spoiler]You have to assemble these pieces on this wall to continue. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'll be more specific. I am in the sky part of Pandora's Temple and the puzzle has a "T" shaped piece. I thought I figured it out, but I couldn't put the short cube piece anywhere. It's mind boggling @_@

I know I have been asking for help A LOT on this game, but some of the puzzles for me take so long I just give up. Also, I got my 1st gold trophy where I had to collect all of those muse keys. Was WAY easier than i thought it would be.

I would, but almost EVERY video of GoW walkthroughs are removed (I'm guessing with the nudity)


EDIT: found a guide I printed off that tells you every puzzle of God of War (I'm only going to use it when I try to solve a puzzle for an hour but no luck so I wont be needing you guys anymore )

You know, I've never played GoW before. A friend of mine bought the collection and had me try the GoW3 demo, and it was awesome. I instantly went and pre-ordered GoW3. So he let me borrow the GoW collection. I'm just about through with the first game(started on Hard mode right off the bat, hasn't been too bad), and I can already tell number 2 and number 3 will be amazing. One of my favorite franchises. I am stuck right now though.

[Show spoiler]I am at the part where I fight a bunch of Kratos' while also keeping my family alive. It's SUCH a pain, I want to through my controller across the room. I kill as much off as I can before I have to use Rage of the Gods, at which point I use Army of Hades and Poseidons Rage as much as I can, at the same time. I just can't do it. They either kill my family or I run out of life trying to keep them alive.

Any suggestions?

When you are using the Rage of the Gods, you are able to transfer health to your family at no cost to your own health. I usually wait until they are low, activate Rage, and then replenish them.

I just got this game yesterday and i started playing today on Easy. I left off at Athens where you just drop down from the roof to get past the gate that wouldn't open.

I'm hoping i can finish the collecting and less than 5hr trophies in one playthrough. I'm just under 1hr 45mins now. Really nice experience so far, i just hope the puzzles don't get too difficult, like some members have been saying here.

Well where abouts are you in the game then? I might tell if you're gonna get the trophy or not.

im thinking youre gonna want to hurry up if you are only at athens and at 1hr 45min, youve got a lot of puzzle solving and enemy killing to do in pandoras temple, you may need to play through the game to get the hang of how the puzzles are solved and strategies on how to kill the enemies, then go back through really quick a second time for the 5 hr trophy

i forget, how much is left after pandora's temple?? i entered it last night and saved after going through the 3 spiked doorways that slam shut on you.

i know i have hades to go through yet, the kratos fight, and ares to deal with but can't remember what else is left.

i'm currently @ 3 hours for time.

I LOATHE time based trophies. I'm probably going to have to run through the game again on a speed run... But I'm liking the game otherwise. I've never (I don't know how I managed it) played either of them.

thats pretty much it after the temple, you go to hades, fight your way up, then you go through the temple of the oracle of athens or whatever its called, then out to that huge sword you ran across earlier in the game and begin the fight with ares

1 more question...if i miss a trophy on my 1st time through, after you beat the game, can you go back and play a specific level w/hopes of being able to get that trophy or do i have to play all the way through again??

you CANT start at a specific point of your choosing, youll have to start over again, what was it that you missed?

Nope. This is why you keep multiple save files just in case you miss something important.

If you're enough of a completionist to care about this sort of thing, use a guide if you must.

i did this on the 2nd game in about 4 hours. i thought it was for GOW2. but, it was for GOW1.

oh, i don't know if i've missed anything or not, i was just wondering once i kick the games ass if looking @ the trophy deal i notice there was something i had missed.

the good thing about the trophies for both of these games is that most of the trophies are story unlocked, and the ones that arent are fairly easy to do, just look everywhere for the chests that contain the red orbs and feathers and eyes and you should be fine
