OMG so I bought this game a couple months ago and I just finished it last weekend! Wow! Seriously the best fantasy RPG I have played in a long long long time. It totally brought me back to the level of engrossment I used to have back in the Ultima days except with PS3 level graphics.

Now I just have to wait until the PC GOTY version comes out and is <$20 b/c this game demands being played on PC.

Indeed it is a GREAT game! Easily in my top 5 games of all time.

Got the PC version for $14 and am having fun with it. I am probably 35% done.

Since building my PC I've left console gaming for the most part.

Glad I waited to try this game because it was so cheap.

Haha yeah.

Well, consoles it's PS3. But it's hard to compete with modding on the PC side of things (like Fallout and Oblivion especially).

Waiting for a deal on the expansion. This game is a blast.

Has it been mentioned anywhere if the DLC is going to be on the game disc or as codes that are redeemed online. EA's new anti used game policies most likely would lean towards one time use codes. Just curious from a used game resale price perspective. I just want to know if I need to watch for new game sales (maybe a B2G1) or wait and get it used. I mean I have already waited this long to play it so what's a little longer.

These GOTY versions are kind of an odd new occurrence. They make me really not want to buy games when the come out. When Borderlands first came out they were already talking about DLC that was planned. Instead of saying Wow I'm excited to play that game, I said Wow I can't wait until they start working on the sequel and stop making DLC so I can get a GOTY version. I am weird.

Couldn't find anything on the official website or Gamestop's. I'm hoping all of the content packs are on the disc (I hate downloading content)

I think publishers are trying to extend the viability and relevance of a title by offering a more comprehensive version of the original through these GOTY / Ultimate Editions. This is a fairly common approach on the PC platform that's being adopted more frequently for their console counterparts. It keeps an older title on the shelf a little longer, and it generates revenue from both a small percentage of existing owners, as well as new customers.

Yeah what I find odd is that it appears only a handful of places are selling this and that does not include Amazon.

Maybe they are trying to avoid this being $25 on BF by keeping the supply in check?
