Very small haul for today. Waiting on a couple others in the mail.

Malcolm X and Drive from Barnes & Noble. Got the $50 giftcard for $25, then used it on these two (total was $49.52, so I have some change left over ). Top left corner of the X digi is slightly dinged a bit, but for $12.xx, who's complaining about such a minor flaw?

It's one of my favorite films of all time though so £4 is a no-brainer. If you have the patience for "slow" but rewarding films you may like it. I'm not against the 6" slipcases - then again, I'm kinda surrounded by them here in the UK! All you really lose is that part of the slipcase that often has a blue banner, or a double play / triple play 'ad' stretched across the top. I have three 6" stubby slips and they're all 100% artwork, which is nice.

As it happens, the previous blu release also had a 6" slipcase in the UK, as did the Matt Reeves remake Let Me In.

And I'm certainly not against slower paced movies either - I'll watch anything!
