If you think about it, Infinity War is a loose adaptation of End of Evangelion

I don't think so. Just meeting a few other characters from it.

Pretty much the entire endgame of Infinity War takes place in Black Panther's country.

I would say do a double feature...see both Black Panther then Infinity War if you have that kind of time (~ 5 hours)

I'd say at least a little bit, the people and country of Wakanda are not something we've seen before in the MCU. Then again I've missed all 3 Thor films, Ant-Man and Spider-Boi and I felt just fine during this.

[Show spoiler]it's the best comic book movie I've ever seen to date. it had everything in just the right amounts and did everything perfectly.

I've never sat in a comic book movie and actually heard people crying and I mean crying out loud too!

my own eyes watered up and I fought back those tears because yeah, they wanted to flow.

I felt like I was an actual participant in what was happening on screen and I felt like I'd gotten the ass whooping of my life right alongside the super hero's. and it was an epic ass whooping too!

can't wait to see it again, but, as I said days ago, my Daughter and I went in full cosplay, to see this, we walked the mall before and after and we easily had been stopped close to 75 times for pictures. we met lots of kids who loved our outfits, some where scared but all looked. lots of grown-ups wanted pictures too. at one point, they thought we worked for the Disney store at the mall and were promoting the movie in the mall!

the absolute most amazing thing happened to us, two kids came up to us, a brother and sister, and they gave each of us a huge hug. we were both taken aback and again, the eye water welled up. their father told us the kids saw us and wanted to come over to give us a hug because they had never seen black people as super hero's in "real life" until they saw us in cosplay. yeah, my Daughter and I were both honored and moved!

these kids in this picture didn't speak much, but, they wanted pictures and they made the picture taking sign and said please, so we understood what they wanted!

and we gave it to them!

then, there was this little guy, who was the closest thing to cosplay as we were in the entire mall. he was great, first, he was shy and afraid to get into a picture with us, but, he kept hanging around and finally after he saw us playing around finally got into the picture. now he's gonna have a great story to tell his friends and family on social media and at school tomorrow!

yep, lots of fun!

Great flick, been a long time a "blockbuster" lived up to its namesake. What a payoff for 10 years of hot and cold. I need more Thanos, NOW!

Everything a comic book fan could want.

DC is soooo far behind.

I have not been to the theater since 2015 and The Hateful Eight!
What a blast, furthermore I went to the IMAX 3D version and after a ~1/2 hour wait they could not get the 3D fixed so it was just IMAX which looked fantastic! Then when the movie was over everyone got a free "Regal IMAX Readmission Ticket" as we left the theater so this one was a freebie! ....So I just might have to see Infinity War again.

Finally seen this today. As far as comic book movies go, this is a 10/10. Probably a 8.5 or 9/10 on a regular scale.

This movie has it all and is balanced to perfection without a site of a stumbling block; but more importantly the film has a weight to it with real emotion. I was suprised at how attached i have become to the characters and how effective the emotional moments were.

The acting is quite excellent throughout and it seems that Marvel is no longer having villain problem, what with Killmonger and now Thanos and his crew.

This really is a triumph for marvel and a respectable achievment that i cannot wait to revisit.

Not really...if it were that easy they'd just do that in the comics.

Well comics aren't the movies and vice verse.
