Went to WM today. The $5.96 sign is still there, but I scanned Book of Life, and sure enough, it was $7.88. Didn't try scanning older stuff. Would've gotten Batteries Not Included but had no patience to dig through the bin for something that may or may not still scan at $5.88.

It pays to go through your old Savings Catcher receipts every once in a while. I just got IW for Tyler Perry's Temptation (DVD, so in SD) and The Purge: Anarchy (Blu-ray, so HDX). These were BF pickups, not bin movies, but I don't know where else to post this.

Same here. I couldn't scan anything, since my store doesn't have the self-service kind, and there were no CSRs to be found. I'm going to assume that the change is universal.

I'll try to get the OP updated over the weekend with what's been reported so far in February.

This sucks. Walmart has gone from having the best bin to the worst. What a stupid decision to hike the price. My enthusiasm is completely deflated.

I never got the $6 dollar bin at my WM, in fact they took away the bin all together.

I guess they thought that $10 dollar TV season bin was a bright idea. Jokes on them, that thing is over flowing and no one stops to look at it.

Wow. I never bought a single movie from the $5.96 bin. But I did notice quite a few of the movies I had bought before at $7.88 in there. A total shame if it's reverting back to the old price.

I'm fine with the price hike if it means a better selection and recent releases. Hopefully they'll start putting Instawatch back with them. Picked up the 28 Days/Weeks Later today. Hope I find Dark Crystal sometime. I remember seeing that in the bin years ago but didn't pick it up.

Awesome! I'm definitely going to try to find this now. Haha I asked because all the ones I found were shrinkwrapped (especially at Best Buy). So many of them have these nasty scratches that appear as if they had gone through some sandpaper work on the blu-ray case, and obviously look as if they were all previously opened and re-shrinkwrapped. The cellophane sticking to the spine and leaving a mess is also a pet peeve of mine, but I'd still take it over shrinkwrapped copies with warped artwork any day. Thanks again!

Btw, do you know if it comes with UV HD or InstaWatch?
