How much did you pay for the B-Stock?

My only other option is to buy a used one...but little hard to come by.
There is one for sale in the lounge as I type this.

I paid $699.99 for it, so $100 less.
It's worth it getting B-Stock, because it comes in the retail packaging JUST like a brand new one, the new electronic smell, and all that. If you put mine next to one that was just taken out of the box, you wouldn't even notice one difference.
It's worth saving the $100 and putting some of that towards the interconnects or something else.

Sounds like a good plan to me. I will email the sales team at Emotiva and see what they have in stock. I willput the rest of $100 towards my RCA cables and 3 interconnects.

Thanks for the info my friend. I will let you guys know....once i hear from Emotiva.

No problem! You can call them also, it's a bit faster. Just make sure you call within their business hours.

My XPA-2 is b-stock is well, and I also paid $699. I normally prefer new and will pay the extra for it, but they were out of stock when I was buying and I didn't want to wait. It did look brand new out of the box.

Personally I would call. It's first come first serve, and I wouldn't want to wait for an email response for something someone else might call on and get before me.

I would definitely check out the Emotiva Lounge, they show up and are sold within days all the time...

I was thinking about getting the XPA-2 since it would of been the same price, but then I would have to buy another amp (was thinking of the XPA-3) for my center and surrounds. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of money right now and won't anytime soon.
Maybe a few years down the road, I'll add an XPA-2 if I end up listening to music more. If not, then the XPA-5 is fine. I'm loving the XPA-5. Watched The Transporter today and . Emotivas are AMAZING!

I run a 6.1, with no plans of changing it up..... so I'd just need a second XPA-3 and I'd be in business...... I was contemplating the UPA-7 and XPA-5 for a long time too......

or just getting a bunch of single channel amps......

Knowing my pension for upgrading..... I didn't want to make a hasty choice......

I guess if I do go 7.1 in the future.... I'd just add a single-channel amp to another xpa-3

I love my 6.1 too Beta, but there is no way I can have 2 rear channels due to where people need to walk and my 7 foot ceiling. However, with your current 6 channel set-up, if you find yourself really getting into music, you could add an XPA-2 and pair it with the fronts and then add a monoblock later on and hook it up to the center channel. Then switch the XPA-3 to power your surrounds. Once I add 1 more monoblock, the XPA-3 I have will be doing surround duty. Which should actually be happening very shortly.....
