Earlier today i scawered the net for the best price for a multi coated B+W Natural Density 2/0.3 Filter for my projector. A little hard too find and i want one not terribly far away.

The Hoya filters a easier too find but also reflect the light a bit more and that's not good for projectors.

I emailed some dealers asking them if their version of the filter were the MRC multi coated lens. Still waiting for them too reply. They'll properly say no but at least there's a chance too save some cash and that's never a bad thing.

I actually went to church today. I haven't been at all in about 5 years or more, but it's Father's Day and church day, so I went with my dad. I think it made him really happy.

Im missing my Bluray player and it's hot sitting right next too the projector. It's sitting right next too me on the couch.

Church is good on special occasions and being with the old folks raises ones spirit.

My modem it seems is in need of a replacement. Im only getting around 330kb/s were i normally get 1200-1300kb/s. I think they will give me a brand new wireless one. That would be cool since i've been using a third party wireless modem too extend my connections at home. So maybe now i can get rid of it and clear some room in the process.

Im also ordering a 9 pin serial cable for updating my jvc pj's firmware. Well mostly just for the component input but still nice too be done with it.

Do you have any idea when you will be getting the Oppo and the pj mount?

I hope you get that new wireless modem soon. You're almost down to my crappy mobile broadband speed, which sucks!

I have checked to see what firmware my pj has, and written it down, but I can't seem to find any info on if there are any newer firmware updates for it.

Yes slow internet sometimes suck. Mostly when trying too download something though.

I think the shelf idea is great, because that will put something between the pj and you, which should make the fan seem quieter.

Are you talking about your original Epson, or the replacement pj? Did you ever get the replacement? I checked to see what I had written down, and unless I made a mistake, I have version 1.12 instead of 2.12. I'll have to double check it the next time I turn it on. Yes, I have also read that for some reason they don't like having their firmware out there for anyone to use. I have no idea why though.

Im talking about the first Epson 6500UB i owned. I didn't check the replacements firmware only the lamp hours.

1.12 is also one of the latest i think. Usually the latest updates are about very minor things so i wouldn't worry too much about that mate. If you really need too though just email the support and im sure they will let you have the absolute latest. Most of the time the changes are not performance related with the last ones just some language and minor cosmetic stuff.

About why they don't like it getting cloned on the web im not perfectly certain but they properly just like there too be some sort of control and safety protocol over it all. Or maybe something too do with the RMA cases.
