U-571 is $7, a quarter of what I paid :-(

Made is good if you are a fan of Vince Vaughan and Jon Favreau, not sure it has that much appeal beyond that.

Picked up "The Rock" for $10 and "Michael Clayton" for $7. They seem to be putting out more titles as the days go on, as someone mentioned earlier. I saw a lot of newer titles that I hadn't seen yesterday. Still haven't found "Blue Valentine." I think I'll just price match that at Best Buy. On a somewhat related note, does anyone think Best Buy will price match Wal-Mart's "Lord of the Rings" price of $60, given it's a limited price (June 28-30)?

Default I think I'm Done

Why do we buy more movies than we have time to watch?

My WM blow out buys:

$5
Ant Bully

$7
U-571
A Bridge Too Far
Jesse James

$15
BTTF
Saving Private Ryan
Star Trek
Forrest Gump

I know if I go back later I'll see something else that I've been waiting for.

Found a new one at a Supercenter WM today, I think.

Spy Kids Trilogy for $15, right beside BTTF. Seems to be the US/Alliance set as it has the US companies on the back.

is anyone in Montreal finding the 15$ TV series that are mentioned on this thread?

ex: The Vampire Diaries S1, Chuck S1 & S2

is Chuck S3 apart of the 15$ special or not?
& it's confirmed that Supernatural S2 is not 15$ cause it is a new release on BR?

You lucked out though, I didn't see them at my Superstore.

I enjoyed them when I was younger, but honestly I don't think I'll ever have the urge to watch them again... thinking back they're too zany (for lack of a better word)

Just out of curiosity, does the third movie include the 3D version (with 3D glasses)?

Amazon.ca had it for $18 a couple weeks back. Both in Windsor are at $49 now
I'm wondering if they ripped Season 5 off the shelves because it was coming up as $15 and they didn't want to sell it at that price =P 0 Walmarts here have it

Went back to the Square One Walmart yesterday and picked up the following:

$7 titles

Carlito's Way
U-571

$10 titles

Gone In 60 Seconds
The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy
The King's Speech (In the new release section)

$15 title

Human Target: Season 1

They had other Buena Vista (Disney) releases for $10 such as Primeval as well....I seem to recall Crimson Tide and Enemy Of The State as part of the selection. There also had a few copies Blue Valentine in the new release section along with The King's Speech but I have no interest in that title.

Also picked up the FS exclusive Black Swan edition in the wrong price spot for $19.99

A good haul for me! More than I needed to spend. lol
the Black swan at future shop is actually the real price. They had a bunch of them on a rack listed for 19.99 at my local FS. I guess they were just trying to match best buy since they have had it on sale for 19.99 for almost a month now. still its a great deal.

edit: so i just double checked the price on fs.com and its still listed at reg price. So my FS must have mistagged them as well because they were all under a sign for 19.99 sp i guess its a YMMV

Yeah, Supernatural is scanned in at 49. I showed him 1, 3, 4, are all $15, and ask him "don't you think 2 should be the same?" and he said whatever scanned is the price. Funny thing is he is also looking at the flyer which says Season 3 & 4 is $25.00....

That's a lie, and he shouldn't say that. All 3 Bourne movies are $10ea (stickered) and I think it's Ultimatum rings in at $21.83. He saying that he'd charge you the $21.83?

don't you get an additional discount if something rings up higher than the stickered price or something like that?

Or is that only if the price on the shelf is lower than what rings up?

I've never had that happen to me... at least I dont think

Scanning Code of Practice, not everyone has to follow it in Ontario, but Walmart does and you're right, BUT, they only do it if you question it. Sticker counts, as they're supposed to remove all old stickers, which is why in Walmart you see so many destroyed Slipcovers by careless ripping off of stickers

yea i was wondering the same thing... since we all bought ALL TV shows that were $25 but were scanning at $15. How does the SCOPE process work?
like what do i need to say when the cashier rings the price of it?

It only applies if it rings up at more than the stickered price

If it's stickered at $25 and rings up as less it's a bonus for you, no reason for them to give you more money off
