It’s weird they they seem to have literally changed every character name from the script. I remember when the Scream 4 sides came out, all those character names remained the same in the movie so I don’t really know the reasoning behind this.

I don’t mind Sarah becoming Sam or Ryan becoming Richie or Will becoming Wes (great tribute to Craven). But I liked Cal, Maude and Annie but they changed them to Chad, Mindy and Amber? They all sound like generic 80’s horror movie character names or Stab characters and NOT the names of teenagers in 2020. Chad is literally the most cliche jock name and Mindy and Amber sound like strippers. Nobody names their daughters “Mindy” in today’s day and age.

I just wish I knew what their reason was for changing every single name.

I wonder if the character sides were fake too? Because another audition video was leaked and

[Show spoiler]sounds like Jenna Ortega's character gets attacked early on. Cal/Chad has bruises so Annie/Amber asks where he got them because Jenna Ortega's character fought back hard.. Chad/Cal says from practice and then asks Annie/Amber about her being the killer and she says "I can't be... [Jenna Ortega's character] saw me and Ghostface at the same time.

From what i hear There are multiple scripts and multiple leaks out there that. It sounds like the guys behind this movie are purposefully trying to make it hard for the actual thing to leak by spreading fake news. So i'm not surprised that the casting names turned out to be fake.

So filming on Scream 5 started today in Wilmington, NC, and from the pictures going around,

[Show spoiler]Skeet Ulrich

is on set. Apparently Marley Shelton also tweeted that she is happy to be working with this cast, and tagged them on their post along with the rest of the cast.

Not saying they will be in the movie, but it is interesting news indeed. Also Courtney Cox was first to film her scenes, but that shouldn't be a big deal since movies don't shoot their scenes in order.

Skeet is currently in Vancouver filming Riverdale. I don’t know why she tagged him but he’s definitely not in N.C.

Idk how he would be able to be in the movie anyways since he is clearly dead, way more than Stu. At least Stu being alive would be more believable. And i thought Skeet left Riverdale?

I really don’t think Billy is alive, that’s just bad fan fiction and I feel like they’re not going to do something so cheap. Now why she tagged him I don’t know, but I highly doubt most of the cast has read the entire script anyway and even if they have, nobody is going to be stupid enough to tag an actor who is part of the twist.

I wouldn't put it past them, but i don't see how they would make it work and seem believable. I guess they could always have him appear as a vision or a dream but that would be kind of cheesy.

No doubt this film will probably lots of call backs and nods to the original and the rest of the series. I really see them playing out the 25th anniversary for this one. So i can see that happening.

That sounds pretty terrible and would not fit at all. There definitely won’t be a what-if dream scenario in a Scream movie.

She tagged the people she was working on the film with, and said she was happy to be working on a film with them. Who knows why she tagged him, but she removed his name and all the posts of people asking about him have been deleted.

Weird that Billy would be back, even for a dream sequence. I can't wait to start seeing set photos from fans like there was for Scream 4.

The guy who has the Michael Myers house in NC likes to visit filming locations so no doubt he'll try to get a glimpse of the filming someday.

I think he's leaving after this current season. Remember, they're filming the end of the current season right now.

And they are stuck up there as well. I saw Lili post that she was bummed the cast weren't allowed to leave the bubble, so she can't even go home for Thanksgiving.

I'm not sure how long Skeet will be up there. I think he, Marisol and 'Betty's mom,' her name escapes me, are all leaving at the end of this season. Unsure how much they had left to film before they start the next season.

The core cast is, but like I said before, Skeet is done after the 4th season is done filming. Unsure how much left they had to film.

Okay, I quick checked an article on filming, and basically Season 4 is over...but episodes 20, 21 and 22 will be the beginning of Season 5, so Skeet may still be filming for those three episodes, and then he's done.

I think there's supposed to be time skip after this season, correct? I'm gonna miss those guys, especially Skeet.
