Not sure how $34.99 instead of $29.99 can be considered "the shock of a lifetime".
![]() Saying that about a $5 difference is over the top, to say the least. And it doesn't "suck for me" it sucks for everyone. That being said it's not as if I won't buy it regardless of the price for release week. |

I agree. I don't like paying more for less content, but it's GOT, my favorite show, and it's worth it. It's still a steal considering all of the extras we get and the amazing PQ and AQ. I would still pick it up day 1 even if it was $60.

Don't like the presumed $5 increase at all, especially since I paid $29.99 release week the last two years in a row. But, in the end, I'm hard pressed to find anything that looks better than Game of Thrones on Blu-Ray (so much so that I've been willing to skip its original airings and wait for the Blu-Ray release up until now), so, it is what it is.

HBO has always been about quality. It's a shame they're changing everything for the worse now.

There's no more than 3 episodes on a disc. Previous seasons have had discs with that many episodes, so even ignoring the positive reviews, there's not even the slightest reason to be concerned about quality.

With HBO GO becoming more common, and soon to be released for my PS4, I think I will stop buying these seasons and wait for the complete series box. It just makes more sense, not having to worry about slip covers, or a $30-$35 charge every year.

I'm really sad about the DVD's not being included this year. They just made the box feel more complete. Unlike like some people I dont have an deep seeded hatred of DVD. They were a nice little bonus back-up copy of a show I love. Did it really cost too much to include 2 flipper DVD's HBO?

If you keep the doubles you have all the houses they made available in the US. If Best Buy keeps Martell and/or Tyrell and don't add anything new next year you can always sell one of your S4s and maintain your spread. |
