I just picked up the Eddie Vedder: Water on the Road blu-ray. That is my only concert blu-ray so far. I watched it last night and thought it was good. It did seem a little short though, the run time is only 78 minuites I believe.

Now I've got the itch to add more concerts to my collection. I was just going through the music blu-rays listed in the blu-ray.com database, can't decide on which ones to get though. I was thinking maybe John Legend, B.B.. King, Bruce Springsteen, ZZ Top, and a few others that slip my mind at the moment.

Are there any must have concert blu-rays out there?

I've got

Metallica: Nimes
Metallica: Quebec
Metallica: Big 4
Marilyn Manson

The Nimes show is my favorite. The setting is just epic and the song list is bad ass.

Agreed. I was watching Quebec Magnetic last night and I like it a lot, but Nimes is remarkable.
Better song list, sound mix, camera work, and overall vibe of the unique setting.

I have several but Sting Live in Berlin is by far my favorite concert BD.

It just sounds magical on my DVD-A1UDCI analog out with separates and P Signature S8 matched system.

HD Audio, esp DTS-HD MA is on par with SACD, so I plan on collecting music BDs to expand my 500 SACD collection.

I really enjoy concert BDs. Here's my collection so far:

...However, I should point out that my concert BD collection is not an accurate depiction of my overall taste in music, lol.

Sheesh, why not just buy Playboy or Penthouse? You'll get more bang for your buck.

I have a few on DVD but definitely want to start getting them on Blu. Mainly from ZZ Top,U2,Alice Cooper for sure. What I am really looking forward to is when they finally release U2's U23D on 3D Blu. I saw that in the theater and loved it.

The ones I listen to the most are:

Maybe once every two months or so (yes, I'm a MJ fan), if only they would release his concerts on blu-ray.

I love this one too, great songs and performances.

My very last music purchase (yes, I'm Hispanic).

I think concert blu's might be hit or miss but that they can be great!. I have a four year old and a 6 year who love the Soundstage: Stevie Nicks Live blu and A;amos Morissette Live at Montreaux blu, as do I. I also think that parts of the Woodstock: Three Days of Peace blu are pretty good. I haven't run into anything that's too bad, though

So I guess we're talking about concert Blu-rays and music documentaries on Blu-ray.

I LOVE 'The Swell Season' (documentary) >>>
