Also, voted for The Departed, the only film I remember liking with him in it (who I think is more often then not a terrible actor).
What do u suggest although not sure if i could sit through a movie that old with an exception of The Wizard of Oz!!

No Basketball Diaries ?

He was awesome in that movie! He played alongside Leonardo Di Caprio

The problem I have with Wahlberg is that he plays the same guy in every movie he's in. But with that said, I think Boogie Nights was his best performance. That was really the first true movie that showcased his ability to be a good actor.

We Own the Night is my favorite of his.

He was too over the top in Fear. Matt Damon outshines him in The Departed. The Truth About CharLIE was just an all around disaster.

I love Boogie Nights but he was just surrounded by amazing talent that I can't just pick him out of it. Doing that wouldn't do the movie justice.

And, for the record, I liked The Happening despite the so called "twist" ending. Unbreakable was worse.

Mark Wahlberg is one of the most boring actors alive. He's been in a few good films (and a lot of crappers), but they weren't good because of him...usually despite him. He's like watching paint dry. Plain vanilla. Or other boring things. How he made it I'll never know.

But for the poll..."The Other Guys". Not that he had anything to do with it being funny.
