I was wondering if it was just mine or not. I was wanting to play Heavy Rain or UC2 multiplayer but I guess that won't be happening tonight! Time to play the 360 I guess...

From what I have read on other sites, a lot of people are having internal clocks reset to 1999, unable to play games online or offline, and theme & trophy corruption.

EDIT: PS3 slims are fine

I just played Uncharted 2 online for about an hour, everything is fine on my end. Relax guys I'm sure Sony will fix this little issue.

Very annoying, as I wanted to play Madden and my Ultimate Team. But, I am relieved knowing it's a problem on Sony's end, not with my PS3.

I was wondering if someone could help me out with this? I was playing my PS3 early in the morning around 10:00 am, I come back from work to play some Madden and I get an Error 8001050F. I have heard many rumors that my PS3 is dead, but the funny thing is I only use my PS3 for games.

If I have to send it back to Sony, they better have great customer service like Microsoft. I bought the PS3 for "God of War 3"! I have the 80gb one that is backwards compatible with all Playstation games. I know Sony tries to give you the wrap around, but I don't want that.

Does anybody have any feedback on this issue?

Slims aren't affected. Almost all non-Slims are, regardless of whether or not they are online. Not a small issue!

Looking back, I was playing Braid when it happened and everytime I got a

[Show spoiler]

I'd get an error, didn't think much of it until I completed the level and got the same error and didn't get the trophy. I then quit the game and went online to investigate.

As has been said, it did not affect slim models.

I just tried to watch Inglorious Basterds on mine and it won't even play it! I believe it's one of those titles which boots up with BD-Live but it gave me some kind of error. I noticed then that the time and date at the top of the XMB now says 12/31 and 5:31 PM (it's around 9:15 PM here)

Good thing I still have my Oppo!

Since I don't have a big enough thumb drive to back up my system, I really hope my saves/etc are ok once this issue is fixed or I'm going to be PISSED...
