The others you have stated i agree on they should be released in October.

I presume it's because times have changed
Yeah Friday I can understand like you said but the others I can't. I mean not even the 2 Halloween movies were released on Halloween which is still something I think is stupid not having a movie called Halloween come out in October.

Anyway, I love the series and was very pleased with the fourth. Hope this won't be the last. All fans better scoop up the Blu-ray right away and show them that there's still interest despite low Box Office returns.
It would shake up the killer(s) and their motivations though. It's always the same thing at the end.

Yeah even looking at your sig Insidious while doing very good would have maybe done even better released in October. Let's just hope Scream 5 can get an October release or at least a better date then the 4th got with Rio.

Insidious i think would have been huge if it was released around Halloween time.

Yeah lets hope it does or near Halloween.

I think the reality is that there are so many horror films produced now, studios are wary of releasing a glut of them in October. I think Insidious did fine where it was, but Scream would benefit from the October debut.

I love how ITE is still saying that Scream 4 isn't happening. You enjoyed Scream 4, yet you keep insisting that there won't be a Scream 5. As a fan, wouldn't you want a Scream 5? And pretty much every major guy that is associated with the Scream movies, is saying that a Scream 5 is happening. So, why do you insist to keep saying that it isn't happening? It's really annoying. If there is a Scream 5 trailer up, you'd probably still say it's not coming out.

Hopefully these sales for the Scream trilogy box set and the Scream 4 Blu-Ray release will help confirm that Scream 5 will be happening. I hope since the summer is winding down that Wes will be refreshed to get working on Scream 5 in the winter of 2011/2012. And then hopefully a Scream 5 by October 2012. That would be great. Releasing Scream 4 in April, with other big movies coming out at the same time, really hurt the box office results.

All his posts are different dates and times. I didnt think it was a problem. And his username is ghostface, i can understand his multiple posting in this thread.

Could they make Hicks a killer? She looked pretty suss when she first saw Sydney on the stairs and i thought she would end up being one of the killers.

Either way roll on the 5cream.

Fair enough, I saw his username about 5 time and thought he'd just kept sending new messages.

I think Scream 5 will be a film consistant brought up over a long period of time, yet it will never be seen.

There isn't even going to be a Scream 5 after the major flopping of Scream 4.

Wow, every thread about Scream you always pop up and say "there will be no 5th movie".

Broken record much.

Roll on the 5th movie.
