None of the slips have the skull head. Amazon had the wrong image up.

I think the 3D cover should've been the skull head cover art and the regular version with the cast on the cover art. Disney didn't it backwards. LOL!!

I know. That's why I said I wish the other three would have gotten the skull head treatment on the new combo pack versions.

Ok the combo pack for just the blu-ray and dvd cover was changed from Jack being on the cover to just a skull and crossbones and now it has been changed back to Jack being on the cover

It was always going to be Jack. The skull art Amazon posted (and people here assumed was the "new" art) was just temp artwork. Amazon has since posted the correct artwork (Jack)

Unfortunately its jack.

I like the group shot best of the 3 since it matches the other 3.

I would guess that they will not release the full 15-disc set in a standard package. If they do release a four film set in a slipbox with cases for each film, I would guess they will exclude the digital copies for the first three and probably the extra 15th disc that is supposed to be exclusive to this set.

Disney's Toy Story trilogy that came in a non-standard packaging is currently the only packaged version that includes digital copy discs for the first two films. It seems that Disney likes to keep certain items exclusive to their unique boxsets to force people to get that version. They might be taking a similar approach with the Lion King trilogy being the only way to get the sequels, but we will need to wait until release to find out for sure. If Disney does only offer this 15-disc set in treasure chest packaging you might be able to contact Disney to buy cases with art to keep the discs in. Other people have reported contacting Disney and being able to buy cases for like $3 or 4 each and like $7 if you want the slipcover too.

I'm not sure which one (if either) to believe, but I have to side with the 10-18 date since it was on Disney's official DVD/Blu-ray site.

Yes, the "10-18-2011" blu ray release date that the website disneydvd.disney.go.com has, does happen to be its correct blu ray release date. The "9-20-2011" blu ray release date is not its blu ray release date, because the disney blu ray and dvd release date website does not have that "9-20-2011" release date as its blu ray release date.

Have an EXTRA autograph it? I would only have one of the main stars sign it, like Depp, Rush, Cruz, or McShane if I was lucky enough to run into any of them with a copy of the movie on hand...

yeah no offense, but an extra autograph's (especially in a movie with thousands of extras), won't be worth anything
