My Best Buy had this one out on the shelves today. Not sure why, I thought it came out next week. They also had that Sarah Jessica Parker movie that doesn't come out until next week. I was hoping to snag a copy of Justified, but they failed to break the release date on that one

How much was Best Buy selling this for? Most places I see online are charging 29.99 or more

Sometimes they put smaller movies out early (probably on accident) I've found quite a few early.

I'm guessing Justified is much more popular than those two combined lol

I know FYE had the newer releases for today out a few days before Christmas. Walmart has stuff out early sometimes, but I don't go to BB much.

For the most part it's some Well Go USA movies and re-releases they put out. Not every store will have them though.

I know different places have different ways of doing business, even if they shouldn't. I remember finding the Tom Jane Punisher dvd out a month before it was suppose to come out at Walmart.

Maybe they have dyslexic workers that get the release dates mixed up and put them out early?

It's funny that you ask. The back cover of the movie states in small print "Contains 2D version of the movie and 2D Digital Copy." I don't know, makes me feel that a 3D release of this one was planned and probably scrapped at the last minute. I don't really feel that this movie is one that will get a 3D re-release. The strange thing is that the text where they list producer/director credits has the movie listed as 'Shark Night 3D.' I don't know, just an odd way to handle this title...

I paid 29.99. I'm one of the few people that really enjoyed the over-the-top cheese in this movie, so I'm fine with paying that price for now. I'm hoping that some place will have it in the weekly ad next week for a more reasonable price. Then I can just go in to BB and get a price adjustment.

Shark Night 3D in the UK is by Entertainment in Video, who appears to lock all of their titles (from what I can see) so I'm assuming this will also be locked.

The French version is by Metropolitan, who has locked pretty much every title I have come across by them, so I'm assuming this will be the same.

This doesn't seem like a big enough title for 20th Century Fox to release on Blu-ray 3D. Maybe in the future? I doubt any time soon though.
