There are some outstanding family films that surprise me by not being available on DVD:

WHERE THE LILIES BLOOM
ISLAND OF THE BLUE DOLPHINS
MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN

All of those are Robert Radnitz films, I believe.

I know this really doesn't apply to this thread but does anyone know where I can sell DVD's on Bluray.com? I have a lot of Disney stuff I'm looking to sell.

Steven Soderbergh's "King of the Hill" from 1993...

I have it on laserdisc but can't believe it has never been released on dvd...

I can only imagine it's a rights issue of some kind. The laserdisc was released through Universal.

Criterion would do an awesome job with this...

that's is becoming an issue now as there were a lot of smaller studios in the 80's that closed up after a few movies. unfortunately not every movie was a T2 so some of those movies are kind of lost right now. one movie I love is The Big Easy and you couldn't find it on VHS except for previously viewed copies from rental places. it finally came out on a barebones dvd and VHS about 12 years ago but it seems to have disappeared again and no bluray. I think it is a rights issue there too as I don't think I have seen anything from King's Road for years.

Are you referring to this movie (1969)? If so, it has been released to DVD and I believe even anamorphic. I highly doubt it'll be released on Blu-ray, however.

The only one I've run across is Mindwarp. Pretty cheap and gaudy B-movie, but it had its moments, including a few smart ideas. Bruce Campbell stars.

EDIT:
Holy frakk, it's coming to Blu-Ray soon!

Eye of the Needle and Gorky Park were released together as a double feature in some bargain basement DVD release about 2 years ago, not widely available and very poor quality Im sure, the specs about the format werent even available.. both should have been treated far better as they are excellent films from the early 80s.

Clean and Sober only got a full screen release in the early days of DVD, another film deserving of a better release.

Eye of the Needle and Clean and Sober I still have on VHS hoping for the day they might get Blu Ray releases.. Gorky Park I havent seen since it first appeared on HBO/Cinemax.
Gorky Park and Eye of The Needle were both released individually on DVD by MGM in the late 90s. Both were widescreen (I don't know if they were anamorphic because I didn't have a HD-TV back then).

Has The Clown at Midnight had a DVD release, either in the US or UK? Have TV films The Return of Eliot Ness and Homicide: The Movie (the follow up to the TV series Homicide: Life on the Street) had a UK DVD release?

It was released on DVD in the US as a double feature with a SyFy Channel movie called Phantom Racer. Fullscreen only though.

These two have been released on Region 2 DVD, but are not available on Region 1 (U.S.):

The Addiction (1995)

Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny (1996)

* I don't know why Rasputin is not available on DVD (or Blu) in the U.S. since the film and its cast won Academy and Golden Globe awards.
