For me it's Roman Holiday that was her best, but by god she was beautiful in all of them!

Oh I have that Lavender Hill Mob blu somewhere too, just don't have it with the rest.
Anyways, what's the quality like on that Unforgiven blu? I know there's two different releases out and read mixed things about them. |

It's the one that introduced her to American audiences (though she was in a few movies beforehand). It's set and filmed in Rome, Italy. Audrey plays Princess Ann. She meets Joe (Gregory Peck) and it's pretty much a romantic story between those two characters.
True it's good, I'd probably rank it at 6 or 7 on my personal list. I really wish all her films would be released on Blu-ray. In some ways it is. As far as identify confusion goes. One person thinking you're someone you're not. |

Don't forget Wait Until Dark or The Children's Hour, both great films. The former is a one location thriller with a famously suspenseful climax, and the latter has an interesting story with a dramatic payoff but really shows with the lead performances, particularly MacLaine.
My Fair Lady will only appeal to you if you like musicals (or Audrey), but if you're a film buff who wants to see every classic, it's a must. |

Absolutely! It never really gets any mention, but it is really worth seeing. It's never really showy or obviously dramatic, but it is just so easy to watch and get sucked into, and that last shot is terrific.
Disagree about Charade though, I absolutely adored that film when I watched it. |

Yeah, most don't share my opinion on Charade. It just didn't work for me much at all really. I can't even tell you why now, since I don't remember, even though it was less than a year ago I saw it.
![]() This is why I need to make a habit of writing reviews for every movie I watch, no matter how short I write it. |
