Really? Where did it say that? She looked a little, scratch that, a lot older than 15. Late teens at the earliest, more like early to mid twenties. And he looked the same. Let me guess, you're going to say he's really 15 too, right?

I'm sure she could be 15 but if it's not mentioned in the movie then it's all up for debate.

It's also set in a time and place when post-puberty = adult and marriage was encouraged, regardless of actual age. The concept of teenagers/young adults as we define them is a relatively new one.

As much as I love the Disney animated films I really wish they would get around to remastering some of the classic live action films! Swiss Family Robinson, The Parent Trap (Lohan version as well), 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and we can only hope Song of the South!

I may double dip because Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie but it really depends on what is on this version. I'm quite happy with the UK release (outside of the artwork, which isn't really a deal breaker for me)

It will probably be presented in at least 7.1 surround. It would be nice if it was Dolby Atmos or DTS: X (this movie really calls for immersive sound), but it all depends on when Aladdin's soundtrack remixing took place. The mixing, cinema to consumer format conversion, and home video authoring tools for these 3D audio formats are relatively new.

Aladdin was done with the CAPS Digital system, so you can't go beyond 2K for this....

But you can take advantage of 10 bit and other goodies included with the Ultra HD disc spec. This would be a boon for animation, especially. The colors would be absolutely gorgeous with little to no banding or chroma noise.

Please let this have a 3D release. I won't understand if this release doesn't get one. Like there are many examples where you would want to see the 3D effect for example the magic carpet rides and the lava scene.
