I'd love a nice release of this film. Germany usually treats horror films really well, so I'll probably import. I'd LOVE this as the cover, maybe even a steelbook. ![]() |

The glow in the dark idea is awesome...but I think I like to color of the original better. I wish it was just an 11x17 poster. I have a nice collection of 11x17's all next to one another and it allows me to hang more on my wall. If I started collecting 24x36 posters...I'd run out of real estate real fast. |

I respect subjectivity with regards to fright factor, but if you come out of every horror movie saying "it wasn't scary" or "I wasn't scared," and define such as how scary it was watching horror movies when you were a kid, well you're setting yourself up for disappointment. I haven't been legitimately terrified by a horror movie since I was probably 11 or 12. Once you become an adult it's pretty much impossible, for most people. Anything that creeps me out and makes me tense with fear and in suspense, or is deeply unsettling, I call scary. I don't think the critics are saying you'll crap your pants but it succeeds in legitimately scaring the viewer instead of spiking the volume at random moments.

Haha, horror fans. My friend and I got to the theater and it was fairly empty, there were maybe 20 other people there that were all quiet types who clearly had some idea of the wittertainment code of conduct (or that Mastodon song from the beginning of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie). Then a couple of minutes into the trailer, three super-loud fat chicks walked in with a ton of nachos and candy and started loudly swearing to each other and blathering about everything and chewing things loudly and laughing at the dialogue and making really witty comments like "YEAH HE GAVE YOU SOMETHING, THE CLAP" and "THIS IS SO BORING" after there didn't look like there'd be a repeat of the beach shot at the beginning and leaving to go to the bathroom and coming back and asking each other questions like "WHY IS SHE ON A SWING" "IS SHE IN A WHEELCHAIR?!" I was about ready to just leave and come back to a later showing, but fortunately they totally shut up about halfway through, I think they finally got into the movie, or else they just passed out from an OD of nachos. I swear it's impossible to see a horror movie without people like this in the theater. Argh. It's never gory enough or scary enough and even if it is they'll loudly laugh or complain about how they're still too tough for it. No other genre seems to fall victim to this kind of narcissism from the audience! It's the movie equivalent of hecklers at a comedy show.
