These films need to bring back the colour to these characters and their costumes, or at least change the filter on the cameras. They basically introduce the Justice League in 3-4 minutes of clips with their logos to help some of the clueless audience understand who they are. Marvel understands their characters and have been developed to where they need to stand in each film. Plus everything has colour in it and stay true to the comic book look they are suppose to have.

Warner Bros/DC just seems to be trying to play catchup to the great success Disney/Marvel has done, but they are going about it the wrong way. At least they had a line or 2 near the beginning to setup Suicide Squad with the mention of the Dirty Bomb in Gotham. I don't mind some of Snyder's work but he is lacking the finesse he once had with his earlier works like 300/DotD for his action scenes. I think he needs to step away from Justice League and let someone new take over. If not to maybe hire Joss Whedon to help tighten things up a bit. I actually wonder how much of his Wonder Woman script might be used in the coming movie which they rejected all them years ago
I haven't seen this one, but most of the complaints leveled at MOS I found unfounded. It wasn't perfect but it had its own character.

I found winter soldier to be goofy like the other films. It was fun, but I didn't find it dark in any way.
[Show spoiler]One character getting shoot then coming back to save the day hardly qualifies to me.
Compared to moments like "can you bleed, you will" between two characters we see as heroes. I also like the visual style Synder uses though I can see why many would not.

Just got done seeing this in 3D. It's sort of a mixed bag, you get a good scene with some medium 3D then you get a sequence that's rather mild. Some of the fast paced action sequences are so slathered in cgi there's moments where the 3D takes a hit because it's so chaotic.
Like another member posted there's also a level of fine grain that's prominent for a large chunk of the movie that takes getting used to. There's also moments where the grain spikes and it really pulls you out for a moment.
If you do plan on seeing this in 3D I recommend you find that perfect seat in the theater.
The movie I won't really go into but I don't think it is as awful as critics have been saying. Everyone will have there own opinion on it and I think everyone should make up there own mind on it.
For me though I give the 3D a 3.5 out of 5.

Just saw that. Walmart also has an in store pre-order for the 2D version that gives you $8 in e-movie cash to see it in theaters. It will also come with a theatrical and directors cut of it.

"This old movie hand has learned in the last decade to NOT read a single review of a current film before seeing it."

Amen to that!

On Rotten Tomatoes the critics didn't like it but 74% of the audience did.

Saw it yesterday, to me the 3D was good (Way better than MOS) nice depth all the way, the movie was good (some minor flaws here and there) and I liked the creative way that they introduce the new character for the Justice League movie, didn't like the portrayal of Lex Luthor at all (but hey that's just my personal opinion) preordered the 3D bluray combo at amazon.com, waiting for the 4k bluray preorder to come up...

Saw it last night.
Batman was great, darker, old but a brawler take no prisoners mentality, better the bale in my opinion.
Storyline was solid.
Climatic battles was intense
3d was solid.

2 miss cast, (wonder woman , and lex luther)
Wonder women was just good enough, still too slim and powerful looking.
Lexus was weird....gene Hackman was the best luther by leaps and bounds.

Almost sounds too good to be true:

I see no real confirmation in any of the linked sites but one can hope. The ultimate cut in 3D...

Saw this last night. Went in with really low expectations, but it was a bit better than I expected. Here's a pros a cons list:

****POTENTIAL SPOILERS****

Pros:
- Wonder Woman. I quite liked the actress, and her character does some serious ass-kicking. She was highlight whenever she was on-screen. I also didn't feel like her character was in it too little or too much, so that was the best case scenario.
- IMAX. The scenes that utilize the expanded aspect ratio look fantastic, and really add to the scale of the film. I would highly recommend IMAX if it is a option for you.
- Setup for future movies. They gave fans just enough to hold them over, but didn't throw is so much that it takes away from this movie's focus.I believe people will be satisfied with the teases in this one.

Cons:
- Lex Luthor. Jesse Eisenberg is a great actor, but I had a bad feeling about this choice from day one. He just isn't a good fit this role. He was just annoying most of the time, and I never felt like he truly embodied the Lex Luthor role. I wish this would have gone to Bryan Cranston as rumored.
- Trailers. Not the ones before my showing, but the fact that the trailers for this movie spoiled way too much. I felt like I knew the whole plot from start to finish going in, and I was correct.
- Lois Lane. Amy Adams did just fine, but her character did not need to be in this so much. They could have shaved her scenes down, and it would have helped with the pacing.

Mixed:
- Ben Affleck. I was open to his casting when it was first announced. I think he did a fine job. This could be an issue with me, but whenever he wasn't in his suit, I would see him and think "Ben Affleck," not "Bruce Wayne." I did quite like his Batman (character and voice), though he had nothing to do when fighting Doomsday at the end. Perhaps he was too famous for this role, though I didn't have this problem with Christian Bale, who I thought was fantastic. I would love to hear someone tell me why they personally thought Affleck was great.
- Superman. Henry Cavill is great in this role. However, his character's story line is pushed to the side. I also felt like his acting was a bit cheesier than Man of Steel. I didn't care for his character as much this time, though I liked the angle they took at the end.
- 3D. Great in some scenes, non-existant in others. I've seen much better and much worse. See it in non-IMAX 3D only if you can get the cool limited edition glasses.

Overall I'd give the movie a 6.5 or 7 (6.75?). I'd watch it again, but it did not get me hyped for their universe at all.

The been Affleck killed it.
Bale was a lesser known actor at the time he took the role.
Affleck was war veteranish here, seen alot death, just been through it all, he's old (45ish) slow but crafty, muscular and strong and battle tested. He actually killed a few people here.
I thought he aced it.

Luther was a miscast to me big time, maybe if he was less annoying but he wasn't.

Wonder women, I'm still on the fence about her but she didn't hurt the movie she played her role.

The plot was good, the pace was good, the fighting was fantastic, I thought they could of done more with doomsday but he was effective.

I enjoyed the 3d maybe 3.5 out of 5. Better then man of Steel 3d.

Overall I liked the movie, I'm going to see it again tomorrow or sunday.

88 out 100, I think it's as good as the force awakens, an avengers 2.

"Way better than MOS" is a big plus in my book, since Man of Steel's 3D was mild most of the way and hardly worth it in 3D. Thanks.

I usually show up to these types of films, but I hated Man of Steel enough that I'm just going to wait until this is free on HBO on Demand in like... a year or two. Nice to know the 3D's at least decent since MoS' 3D wasn't.

Yeah, they said if you didn't like Man of Steel, chances are you won't like Batman vs Superman.

Going to watch Man of Steel "2.5D" before seeing the new film.

Ah? He was? Where was Affleck when Bale was doing that little movie called Empire of the Sun by Spielberg when he was 13 years old?

It was AMERICAN PSYCHO that really put Bale on the map.

Thumbs up

Enjoyed it. 8/10.

Previews 3D:
Captain America Civil War 3D: High medium, strong 3D.
Ghostbusters 3D: Medium and some strong 3D. Nice pop out ghosts.
Warcraft 3D: Strong 3D.
X-Men Apocalypse 3D: Medium 3D all the way.

I'll definitely buy this on blu ray 3D. 3D medium layers and then strong 3D in the final act. Nice particle pop outs. 3D definitely much better than the mostly mild 3D of Man of Steel.

As other said, if you liked Man of Steel, this has the same style of storytelling though I might like this a little more since we're also getting a cool version of Batman who plays a major role. Wonder Woman's appearance was very welcome and exciting beyond what I was expecting
[Show spoiler](during the scene when Batman is about to be clobbered by Doomsday and she jumps in to protect him)
.

3D Conversion by Genesis (or something like that I noticed in the end credits).

Nothing after the end credits by the way as they do with Marvel films.

So Captain America: Civil War may have better 3D than The Winter Soldier?
