Also, this article from February says sony had a press release announcing 4k bd titles and the catalogue titles listed.

This is old news people.

Some more release date guessing.

The release date (06/07/2016) for Ghostbusters on play-asia.com corresponds with these 2 not yet named listings on Best Buy.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/4k-ultra...copy/5122448.p

My guess is that they are made either for Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, or Man of Steel and Pacific Rim.

Media format UH means Ultra HD. Release date 07/06/2016, which is European date format for June 7th 2016.

Ugh. I bet Sony put the original Blu-ray as the pack-in instead of the delicious Mi4K version(s).

Pretty excited about these. The fact that Sony was quick to push this makes me think this movie is even worse than some people are saying. They want people buying and watching the originals as much as possible just so that they can't help but buy a ticket to the new movie.

Strange the HDR sign is not there.
I don't think Sony puts HDR sticker on the front cover on any of their UHD releases.

The first one will be mine!

HDR can bring out more of the original capabilities of the negatives than SDR when graded correctly and not used to crank the brightness knob to 11.

Sony's Atmos remixes, so far, have been quite good. I'm really not worried in that regard.

"Capabilities"? There's a lot of information on exposed film that could be added to a video transfer. This does not mean it should be added.

The original filmmakers are involved with the HDR grading. This could because a limited theatrical rerelease may be in the offing.

Well, that's better than if they weren't, but I wish they'd make available a release that follows the original color timing.

Uh, that artwork is horrible. Why can't Sony leave well enough alone? Strange also that they have "Digital" in the banner at the top when on all their previous UHD releases, they've omitted any mention of the digital copy on that part of the cover. Maybe they got negative feedback about it.
