Can anyone confirm that the special features on the US and UK releases are identical?

Yes. The packaging here is pretty much as eco as it gets.

Not a fan of the way the disc is being held, give me a plain old case any day of the week, even if the artwork on that case is much more enticing.

I heard back, and no dice on any type of replacement. Basically, if I want it, I would have to purchase it from them directly.

Wait, so you're a Circle of Trust member and they didn't give you the digibook packaging?

It's pretty lame of Oscilloscope to have handled this so poorly.

Oscilloscope even posted on Facebook themselves that the Slip packaging is NOT an Oscilloscope webstore exclusive.

Their recommendation? Return it to Amazon for an exchange, or return it and re-order from O-Scope directly. Yeah...right.

Right but the uk case doesn't confirm the commentary. Has anyone actually bought it and checked it out.. The amazon.co.uk review is ambiguous as the original specs mention commentary which is suspiciously absent in the case.

Can anyone who has the US disc confirm if there are glitches in the video? A user on another forum complained of dropped frames throughout, which results in a slight jump or stutter in the picture. Hope they are not all defective, and I wonder if the UK disc is the same.

I did notice some dropped frames when I watched my copy. I hit rewind and rewatched one bit in case I was imagining things. It's not a huge deal--just a slight stutter in a few places. Not sure if it's just the way the film is since it had a very low budget.

Region B locked I'm afraid.

The UK release has all of special features, including the commentary track.

I noticed the same slight stutter/missing frames on the UK release too, I assumed it was artistic choice made by the filmmakers. I thought they were trying to emulate an old film print, because of the dropped frames, speckles, and small imperfections throughout the film. It was very subtle though, nowhere near the level of Grindhouse.

That's good that it has the commentary - strange that the case doesn't mention it..

The last four I've gotten were just simple digibooks in slipboxes. No glossy slips that house it all. And no pretty multi fold disc inserts like my copy of Meeks Cutoff has.

Spiderwalk, would you be able to take some pictures of the packaging of the UK version? Font, back, inside? I'm trying to decide between the UK and US version, and weighing packaging and ability to share the disc with my region-locked friends.

No, I honestly didn't notice anything at all like that when I watched my US disc.

Good to hear. I think it's probably very subtle. Literally blink and you miss it.

So how is everyone enjoying the film? I haven't seen it, but it's my #1 want.

I didn't notice any stutter on my copy either. I was absolutely enthralled by this film. How is the commentary track? Has any one listened to it.

Thank you for taking time to post pics. Yours Looks great! I'm so torn on whether to order the UK (cheaper! and better artwork) or from Oscilloscope (more unique packaging, Region A).
