For some reason the heads on the two cover art subjects look out of whack ?

Esp. the Mummy, the neck is too long and the head too small in comparison to the rest of the body. And Bela barely looks like Bela ...

Some of these new Legacy covers composite together different images of the same character regardless of actor. The FRANKENSTEIN cover had Karloff's head but the rest of him or at least his hands were from a still of Chaney Jr from GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN. The WOLF MAN cover had Chaney's head from the original film composited into an image of him from FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN. The MUMMY cover looks like it's Karloff's upper body half while the torso looks to be Chaney's from one of the sequels.

I already own the frankenstein legacy set. I am thinking of getting the mummy legacy collection. I noticedthat the dracula set has most of the films available on the frankenstein set. Are son of dracula and dracula's daughter worth buying the set with the repeat movies?

Nice detective work ! I had suspected some digital manipulation was at play but not to the extent which you have found. Dracula looks more like Martin Landau than like Bela ... hmmm, coincidence ?

Yes if they are remastered; otherwise no, esp. if you already own them on DVD.

If Dracula's Daughter is a new remaster I'm curious which opening credit sequence will be used.

For the Creature films, theres only 3, so I'd love to see them fillout the eventual set with The Mole People and This Island Earth, along with the 3D Creature films. I know Mole People had a Blu released in Germany a few years back.

Happy for Mummy & Dracula, now just bring on the rest!

Hopefully a Son of Dracula stand-alone release will happen. Four of the five in that set are overlaps, and of course Dracula was in the original monsters collection. Not paying for a 6 movie box for one flick.

hmm.. Not too sure what to do here. I was hoping for a single release of Dracula's Daughter, which I enjoy quite a bit. I really dig Abbot and Costello and want A&C Meet the Mummy... I have Dracula and A&C Meet Frankenstein.

I'm sure they'll use the same Dracula disc as for the Universal Monsters collection, which means the Spanish version will be included, it'll be listed as an extra.

Dracula's Daughter also should be new and considering that you're likely to pay about 20$ for the whole set, you might consider that as a fair price for 2 films in new restorations.

Yeah, collectors that aren't hung up on the dollars spent understand that what we're being offered is "packages" of these movies.

Those that wish Universal would just collect all these movies in one ultimate edition.... well, Universal is not ready yet to offer that package.
