January 2018 Movie Challenge

January Theme: Movie Chain (25 movies)
You start off with a movie by a filmmaker of your choice (actor, actress, director, writer, cinematographer, or composer), then continue with your next selection provided it connects in some way with the previously mentioned filmmaker. For example:

1. Scarface (Michelle Pfeiffer)
2. Stardust (Matthew Vaughn)
3. X-Men: First Class (Jennifer Lawrence)
4. Silver Linings Playbook (David O. Russell - screenwriter)
5. Three Kings (Mark Wahlberg)

This will continue until you've reached 25 films total (and beyond if you like).

The other remaining 25 films will be spread out over 5 categories with 5 films per category like we have done in the past.

January Recommendations: Movies that aren’t too Long (5 movies)
5 movies that you haven't seen before from the titles recommended by other members. In your initial tracking post, everyone list 5-10 movies that are 90 minutes or less. Then for the ones you watch for this category, mention who recommended the film in your post.

January Featured Category (optional): Golden Globes (5 movies)
Select past and present nominees/winners.

• 50 movies is the goal, but based on your own time and situation you can shoot for more or less, so we have different levels from Coal to Platinum:
  60 Movies - Platinum
  50 Movies - Gold
  40 Movies - Silver
  30 Movies - Bronze
  20 Movies - Copper
  10 Movies - Coal
