I haven't seen this yet so I don't know if that's the route they've gone, but it is a thing.
I know for a fact that South Park's bleeps aren't intentional/artistic. They bleep the language to appease advertisers. There's a reason why 80% of the show is uncensored on Blu-ray. Same goes for Rick & Morty.

I rewatched Cliffhanger last year. Remembered it being better than it was. Doesn't hold up but still something of a guilty pleasure.

True - but those are different animals. They were scripted and bleeped at the end. Deadpool holds a bleeping device and constantly sets it off - it's for comedic effect. They went into this knowing they had language limitations, and used the bleeping to subvert it. The end result is actually dirtier, IMO.

Is it a similar running time or shorter? Once all my preorders are done, I may pick this up on eBay or something.

Not a single one. The only ones available are the ones on the actual Deadpool 2 release.

They're roughly similar. There is a difference of only 2 minutes. The theatrical cut of Deadpool 2 is 119 minutes. Once Upon a Deadpool is 117 minutes, but there are scenes cut and alternate scenes in Once Upon a Deadpool.

Target order was backordered (yet they are still letting you order for shipping)

I canceled and am going to pick it up from the store on my way home since I have to be in that area anyway tonight.

No slip, no extras. I'll wait for a DC in the FS forum.

Watched this in cinema and thought it was quite badly edited. The DCP showed that it's only in 7.1, they didn't even mix this in Dolby Atmos.

I didn't enjoy it, but the collector in me cannot resist getting this Blu-ray. Fortunately, it didn't cost too much.

Picked this up from Best buy today. My store only had about 7 copies on the shelves.

Wouldn't be the first time Fox had an Atmos track in theaters but left it off the home video BD release.

I bought this today at Target, they had a decent amount of copies. I'll watch it Thursday, I know I'll prefer the R version but I do want to see the Fred Savage/Deadpool scenes.

That’s par for the course for Fox:

Blu-ray has DTS-HD MA audio regardless of theatrical format.

4K Blu-ray has Dolby Atmos.
