It would not even be possible! the 360 can not hold up to 60 players in a dedicated server! not to mention the single player itself! I have a feeling it will be kick ass!

Its probably fake. Why would a game need 170 MB? Although that could be possible since every PS3 has a hard drive. Plus, it says 1-42 Online where the Article says it has 1-60.

This game looks so wicked. I need to start saving up

Try fitting games like Resistance 2 and Metal Gear 4 onto one DVD... or two... or three... You can't.

Everyone I talk to is convinced that the PS3 is a total failure and it "doesn't have any games". Their days of "the 360 is better" are coming to an end.

The PS3 will own 2008 with better games (not just more generic shooters), LONGER games (that don't have to fit onto the lowest common denominator), and better graphics. Oh yes, and the built-in Blu-ray doesn't hurt either.

All the news on this game is very exciting. I do worry about the addition of vehicles. This could really shake things up. Anyone really expecting it to be like the first is in for a rude awakening. It is going to be great, don't get me wrong, but no where near the same.

as they said i bet you the graphics will get alot better to, all the modes and by then so many more ps3's will have sold this will be just as big if not bigger then halo!!

in terms of size (and hopefully length) it WILL be bigger than Halo... but too many retarded Halo fanboys out there for anything to overtake it.

just as they say this will be released FALL of 2008....i think they meant FALL of 2010. if its supposed to be so big and so epic..i'm all for it....the release date...i doubt it.

just like HAZE was in december then moved to JAN 15...now march 18
or MGS4 or FFXIII and DMC4...and those were supposed to launch title way back when.

i'm all for this game...but i think a lot of things are going to be subject to change like the 60 MP thing...thats an aweful lot of peeps connected.

Maybe so, but Insomniac have already proved they're capable of efficiently overlapping two projects with successful results and no delays. The specs may be ambitious but as time goes on they're refining more rather than building up technology from scratch so there's less pressure in other departments.

This is Insomniac we're talking about. They've managed to release a game a year every year since 2002, all of them hitting shelves in either late October or early November. Resistance 2 is their game for this year.

This is great news, the offline co-op I bet will be a blast, and the online might try that one as well.

I loved the story of the original I bet this will be another great title.

I would like to remind those that speak of fitting something into a "dvd" please dont use the math 50 gb / 4.. Remember the assets that are used on the first disc that are used again in the 2nd disc must be payed for again on the 2nd disc and etc.

Assets don't have the magical powers to fly from disc to disc alot of people forget this.
