I saw this in Dolby Cinema yesterday and I totally loved it. Big screen, great colors, great voice acting. Can't wait to own this (especially if they put out a beautiful steelbook).

If you're gonna watch this in theaters, then yes, it definitely looks better in Dolby Cinema

Hopefully this is an entertaining film for those who see it. It has a nice art style to it and good animation.

If this was in medium to strong 3D, I'd consider it. But no 3D at all...
Talking pets, I'm not a huge fan of that genre. I like when the pet dog doesn't talk with human words, but barks to communicate.

I think it’s possible WB decided to drop 3D in 2022 after The Batman and Fantastic Beasts also were 2D only releases. At this point it’s basically Disney/Marvel and Universal keeping 3D alive.

Thanks.
Dreaworks (under Universal now) The Bad Guys was post converted into medium 3D from what I heard. Probably faster to render 1 film's worth of footage than two (for the other virtual camera), where the medium conversion was cheaper and faster unfortunately.

Great movie. Don’t agree with article about voice actors. Obvious who was playing Krypto and Ace but their voices fit those characters. And I didn’t even realize who was Lulu. And yes that was the same voice in post credits scene. Clever ploy. Solid movie that I highly recommend even without children.

Thanks. Was there a good amount of action, adventure in the film?

Arrow DC League of Superpets Comic Book

My local AMC had this free DC comic book for those attending the movie this weekend. I'm not sure if it's an AMC exclusive or not. The comic book introduces the super heroes and the super pets and their super powers and includes a preview of the new graphic novel DC League of Superpets that's coming out (next January 3rd). It's a nice comic book. Good quality with vibrant colors. They may still have some left for the shows next week.

Maybe they'll bundle it as a store exclusive for the Blu-ray like Paramount's doing with Sonic 2 and the Pre-Quill IDW comic

Took my niece to go see it today. Wasn't quiiiite my cup of tea, but there were definitely some funny moments. Loved Kate McKinnon as Lulu, Middleditch and Schwartz as the Guinea Pigs, and Keanu as Batman, but my favorite was probably Natasha Lyonne as Merton. Her gags were the best, and I wasn't expecting the bleeps, which got a genuine chuckle out of me. Won't spoil anything, but loved the scene with the cat as well. My niece loved it, which is what's important; definitely see it being a hit with kids.
