The Blu-Ray release of eXistenZ was terrible. I had the Canadian anamorphic DVD at the time and was perfectly content with it.

Thanks. Do you know if the Resen release is legit or a bootleg? I like the cover art a lot better on that one than on the Sony.

I (stupidly, it turns out) assumed that Scorpion would release a standard edition of Humongous after their Ronin Flix exclusive sold out, as they normally do. Apparently this is the one exception...

Thanks for the heads up, but my OCD needs those chipboard LEs on the shelf. I even have the standard blu-ray release of Re-Animator and still consistently consider dropping $200+ on the LE for some extra features I'll maybe watch once or twice. It's a sickness

All of Resen's releases are bootlegs.

Someone said Giallo in Venice isn't getting a standard re-release either.

I'll jump on the bandwagon and get behind this thought. Like so many, I figured I had everything I needed when it came out since I'm only missing 5 and the Zombies and have no desire to ever revisit those or Resurrection, but damn I'd love to get my hands on that bonus disc with the additional Horror's Hallowed Grounds- one of my favorite things about SF releases. It's also a really handsome looking set.

I missed out on this and it was a limited edition with no copies for sale on Amazon at any price.
I thought only the slipcase was limited? Is the even the standard edition OOP now?

I did not know that Criterion has obtained some StudioCanal titles! Yes, prayers for The Third Man (and hopefully their release of Ran).

Black X-Mas (2006).

Only released in Canada, the Blu-ray set only contained the theatrical cut and now goes for nearly $200 online. So not only would I like to see a re-release, I'd like it to contain the unrated version.

It doesn’t keep me up at night but I’m kinda kicking myself for not getting the version of District 9 that had a tactical vest wrapped around the cover.

The black slipcover (Target Exclusive) of Inglorious Basterds is another one.
