So what you are saying is that you support BD only because its on the ps3 then and not BD in general?

nope..... it's separate case...
I support PS3 because of Final Fantasy, Tekken and Kingdom Hearts series (although no KHIII)
I support BD because of WALT DISNEY and FOX.

It's completely different case.

BTW, Kingdom Hearts is a combination of Disney and Final Fantasy characters

For anyone serious about the idea of an Xbox with Blu-ray, instead of signing a petition why not build yourself a PC with a wireless Xbox-type controller and a Blu-ray drive, to run various Games for Windows? Surely that'd be much better than a 360 with an add-on.

If the 360 didn't have so many ass holes for supporters, I wouldn't mind signing it, but after all the smack talking, I give that petition a 1 finger salute.

well I got a 360 & I do like it (but for the hight heat & loud sound output) BUT it is just a gaming machine. As I said, I hate the loud a$$ sound it puts outs & too use it for anything other then gaming is just dumb. The only way I would get one is if MS sent me one for Free & what is the odds of that?

When Blu wins MS sould offer a rebate for those dumba$$ that got the hddvd add-on or at lease a free BD movie.

so if you do get a Blu-ray add-on but you don't have an elite 360, you're gonna end up watching Blu-ray at 720p...

Why is that? The ICT has only been implemented on 1 movie that I know of, so you can use the component cables, unless your tv doesnt support 1080p over component.

Sony sacrifice the PS3 to deliver its new born baby Blu-ray to the world, and by doing so they lost to the Wii and 360.

Blu-ray is a baby now held by Panasonic, Pioneer, Phillips, Samsumg, Fox, Disney, Warner, Lionsgate, New Line. They take care of this baby and hope for the world of SD to treat it right.

Now comes Microsoft. "Hmm, little baby? Come to papa, I am your new daddy now."

They take it, they stab Sony right in the chest, and walks off smiling.

Quote from future fan-boys. "Why should anyone buy that crap PS3? So what if it can play Blu-ray? Our 360 can play it too now as well, ours is cheaper and BETTER, we got more games!"

While most will say. "The folks at Blu-ray.com didn't do shit to support Blu-ray, it was us, right when Blu add-on got to 360, it sold software like mad! It was our doing that help, not Blu-ray.com, they're just a bunch of loser Sony fanboys who back that flop PS3."

History might turn that way.
So I won't sign, not that I can stop Microsoft for getting Blu add-on drive.

All I'm saying is, if one click can prevent things, then I won't sign this.

Sorry.

You don't think I want Blu-ray to be standard??

I want it SO badly, it's why I'm here.
It's why I support Blu-ray.

But as I said, cruel fate may awaits PS3 user. How can you doubt that when I only say it "may or might". I'm not saying it will.

Blu-ray is BIGGER than the PS3.
I get it.

Don't you forget this though, PS3 help make Blu-ray what it is today as well.
It help Warner come to our side and end this dumb format war too.

People need to respect PS3 as well.

Everytime I go out to electronic store, some folks always pass by and say PS3 is crap and can't do jack. How cruel...

Well heres some advice. Dont live your life based on what people say to you about an inanimate object.

Isn't Blu-ray disc itself an inanimate object as well?

Yet you are here defending the 360/Add-on deal like every post.

Why not just take your advice and ignore my post too then?
Instead of living your life giving me advice here.

Anyways, i'm done.
My point is, I support Blu-ray only, not 360.

No what i was saying is that you are concerned about what people are going to say about the ps3. Why do you care? Some guy can tell me that everything i like sucks, and i dont care. If you support BLU RAY you would support the MASS ADOPTION of it, and not just having it on the ps3. Your post makes it sound like you cry at night because you went to an electronics store and people were putting the ps3 down. Which is totally different than my posts, i dont really care if its on the 360 or not, but for the mass adoption of blu ray, it would be better. I wont care what people say about it or not, my emotional well being is not tied to the praise or putting down of it.

Mass adoption? Yes, I support that.

But if another game console gets a Blu-ray drive, wouldn't this slash the PS3 sellings down?

Then again, nevermind, it's only an add-on.

Your not getting what im saying, and im not trying to start an arguement so ill clarify what im saying. PS3 has helped Bluray almost single handedly. No one denies that. But BLU RAY is not the ps3. Its a movie format. I honestly dont care if the ps3 stops selling because a better or more blu ray players come out. Im not here to support the ps3 ( although i do own one and think its great), im here because I support Blu Ray. There is a difference. Eventually a player will come out that outsells the ps3 as a primary blu ray player, thats just a fact. I dont think people will put the ps3 down because of that though.
