Looking at Fortune Star's catalogue, a few titles I'd love to see that haven't had much mention are Flaming Brothers, The Iceman Cometh and Postman Fights Back. Hopefully the UK rights aren't screwed up with these

I hope Eureka can do some female action flicks like the Angel series or the In The Line of Duty Films, One of my most wants is 'She Shoots Straight' as it one the better girl with gun films.

Another film I've wanted to see on bluray is Cory Yuen's 'So Close' from 2000, Starring Shu Qi, it's a pretty decent modern Action flick. Think Sony has the rights to it.

Some of the action thrillers HKL had like Purple Storm, and the Premier Asia ones such as Musa or Bang Rajan might be good

^Bang-Rajan blu-ray would be terrific, and Eureka is an excellent label for that, given the track record of their HKL/PA ports including all the non-BeyLogan extras.

I'd love Purple Storm. I was always amazed that one never got a Hollywood remake.

Loved Bang Rajan on the Cine Asia label and Ichi the Killer also. There's a new 4k remaster as well. And Ong Bak!

The more modern HKL ones like 2000 AD, Purple Storm, Black Sheep Affair. I think they are Media Asia, so not sure who owns these rights, did they also go to Fortune Star?

Looking at HKL's Wikipedia catalog, I forgot just how many I used to own and sold them all to CEX years ago Really hope we can get the likes of Ninja in the Dragon's Den, New Dragon Gate Inn, Tai Chi Boxer and Wing Chun.

I picked up NOVA's release of New Dragon Gate Inn a few months ago. The PQ is rather nice overall although the subs could be a lot better! It has the Cantonese audio track which wasn't present on the HKL DVD, although it does flit to Mandarin for some of the songs. While the slip is sumptuous I do hope a UK release with a lot more content is released.

I also picked up NOVA's release of Encounters of the Spooky Kind but I'll replace that with this upcoming release!

Would be a nice pairing on Eureka as they already have Dragon Inn

The UK release of Musa: The Warrior was not ONLY the shorter, by 20 mins, international version but is also CUT by 27 secs for animal cruelty.

Talking of Premier Asia releases I'd like to see UK releases of the following:

1) Bichunmoo
2) Brotherhood - The ONLY PROPER 1080p transfer of this film is the NON-English friendly French BD.
3) Champion
4) The City of Violence
5) Crying Fist - With BOTH the ORIGINAL Korean & International versions. The UK release ONLY had the shorter latter version
6) Hyeongsa (aka The Duelist) - Although no cuts are listed at the usual haunts (BBFC, Melon Farmers, movie-censorship), the UK release appears to have a shorter runtime than others, even taking into account PAL speed-up. If you can shed any light on this matter, please let us know. (104:03 PAL).
7) Ju-On: The grudge 1 & 2 - Ideally a boxset containing the following films:

A) Katasumi and 4444444444 (1998; short films shown within television movie Gakkō no kaidan G)
B) Ju-On: The Curse (2000)
C) Ju-On: The Curse 2 (2000)
D) Ju-On: The Grudge (2002)
E) Ju-On: The Grudge 2 (2003)
F) Ju-On: Black Ghost/Ju-On: White Ghost (2009) - 10th anniversary films

8) Ichi the Killer - Hopefully it would be passed UNCUT
9) Ichi the Killer : Episode Zero - This should be included with the Miike film.
10) Once Upon a Time in High School
11) Ong-Bak
12) Shutter
13) The Warrior King
14) Typhoon - Preferably the UNCUT version as the UK release features cuts that were made prior to the film's submission to the BBFC. Some of the cut footage can be seen in the documentaries.
15) Volcano High - Must include the ORIGINAL Korean version as the UK release ONLY had the shorter, by 20 mins, international version.
16) My Wife Is a Gangster - They could do the entire trilogy, albeit the 2nd one would still be CUT for horsefalls.

Cool list but I don’t see the spoilsports at the BBFC letting ICHI get through unscathed.

My Wife is a Gangster and Attack the Gas Station are absolutely brilliant. Korean cinema had an unbelievable resurgence

I completely forgot this one which I would also add to the list above.

1) Initial D - Made by the Infernal Affairs duo & is better than that terrible Hollywood franchise The Fast and the Furious
