I'd totally be up for this! I enjoy them all, but none of them can touch the original in terms of scary, funny goodness.

Since Scream is my fave movie of all-time I will buy every single version

If this turns out to be true words can't express how happy I'll be. Just need A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Exorcist to cap off my most wanted horror UHDs

I'll be purchasing this and I'm excited to see it's coming. But I'm also managing expectations. As I concur with those suggesting it could go like Beverly Hills Cop where there is no guarantee follow up unless it sells over their projection, meets their requirements; or w/e metric they use to decide that course!

I totally get it, it was the first slasher movie I saw in theaters and I've purchased it multiple times each on VHS (4x), Laserdic (1x), DVD (3x), Blu-Ray (2x) and Digitally (2x)... With my luck they'll include some never-before-seen features and I'll end up buying it release week anyway :P

Dogma is personally owned by Harvey Weinstein. So that’s more of a long shot.

No Country for Old Men and The Crow are also on my shortlist for UHD wants from Miramax. There are many other's which I'd like to see get at least remastered blu-rays that probably wouldn't ever make it to UHD.

Maybe a nice 4k steel as well? Regardless, I'll be getting this in whatever version they give us.

So glad I waited to purchase the collection set. I was extremely close a few times but held off.

Not a big horror slasher movie fan but I'll probably get this one.

For those of you clamoring for an uncut D/C, what do you think you're missing?
I still have the hyped uncut D/C kicking around in LD. I haven't watched it in a million years as I no longer have a player, but if memory serves, we are only talking about a few removed frames so that a slow pan to a guy hanging in a tree becomes a quick pan.
I seem to remember this from the commentary track on the disc and thinking "so what?"
Although, I maybe misrembering, as I used to only listen to commentaries while high.

There are about 6 places where the film was cut due to graphic content (which is ironic because Scream 2 is even more violent/bloody and that one got an R with no problem, as opposed to the this first one which had to be cut to avoid an NC-17 rating).

https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=256325

They are indeed small edits (a few frames, zooming away from the violence/gore), but they also increment the impact of the murders. Imo they should definitely include the cut content since that’s how the director meant it to be seen originally.

Here for this! Hopefully we get all four films in 4K with a new scan since the current Blus look like oversharpened DVDs

Drew Barrymore isn't a guy. Her character's death is more graphic in the uncut version, as is the death of her boyfriend Steve. Tatum's head-crushing is longer, and there are several instances of editing when Billy and Stu are stabbing each other. Oh, and Kenny's throat-slit is more graphic.

Other than that...
