90% sure you won't get preorder items before release date if it's through the same company as Deep Discount.

Since you say you are in Ohio, you have a chance being so close to Louisville, where most of the packages originate. I'm on the West Coast, and after ordering hundreds of times from them over the past 20 years, I probably have only received a few titles by release date. They almost always come in the Thursday thru Saturday following release date for me.

I don't know if this counts or not, but I did one order for the Star Trek 4K Collection and eight more orders for various Marvel Legends and Transformers collectibles for a combined total of $732.63 Believe me, I spent hours finding all the right combinations to get as close to $100 for each order as I possibly could. I also paid with PayPal/Discover for 5% back, as well as used various cashback sites for between 3-10% each, so I can't be any happier!!

Other than the recent Marvel Legends sale where they (DeepDiscount.com) got bombarded with too many orders at once and the seemingly constant pushback on the dates for current 2 GI Joe Classified waves I've never had any issues with orders for figures for the last decade or so. That said, I'm aware of the issues and appreciate you pointing that out, especially for those who might be new to ordering from them; but these possible discounts--especially on items like NECA figures that rarely go on sale--are worth the risk for me.
