Those speakers were available in the 90's on a consumer level (they just cost alot ) A pair of them are actually available on A-gon as we speak. I've actually seen and heard the 18inch Snell subs before in Virginia. The Reference A's were a Stereophile recommended component Class A for a long time.

Snells? They look like small buildings in the pics [grin]. Another of interest would be to see what type of power cords he is using. Sunyatas perhaps? The speaker wires? Digital and analog cable makes?

That's just wrong. If he can spend 6.000.000 for a HT, then he could at least fork out for a camping toilet. That way they can watch the film in comfort without the spillages.
