Site loading extremely slow / timing out

Since late last week this site has been loading extremely slow for me, with lots of timeouts and "internal server error" pages, to the point where the site is almost unusable for me, both opening new pages and posting. I've got no such issues with any other website and I have fiber internet. All pages are having this issue. A few pages load okay but then it stalls out again. I saw somebody else mention this the other day in another thread as well.

In general I often have issues with this site and only this site. But since last week it's been really bad. 15-30 second delays are common per page. Sometimes I just get a blank "internal server error" page and have to reload a couple times.

Can anyone shed some light on what's going on here?
