At the end of the day, all three console makers are competing for the same market, gaming. Nintendo's spin on it may be slightly different with their expanded audience, but what do you think Natal and Arc are for?

I think if we see new hardware it will be from MS, but nothing radical, just a redesign and a new bundle for Natal. It seems unlikely that Nintendo will bother with anything right now off the back of record sales in December.

Yeah Nintendo is laughing all the way to the bank.

After 3 years of making money off the console and the components inside getting cheaper and cheaper to make, they drop the price slightly and WHAMO insta cash.

Boy, this is really sad with the fanboy wars/console bashing and not to mention the name calling. Anyway, It's obviouse that the "analyst" is wrong (again).

the only new hardware that i have seem for future release is the motion tracking stuff Playstation and Microsoft (Natal) is bringing out.

other than that if there was going to be a new console this year then it would have a backlash as there is no need to.
