I'm pretty sure they are player generated. On my sony player I cannot get rid of them but I know some players are able to get them out of the way. For what is worth the subtitles are inside the movie frame.

The bluray sports the new 4K transfer complete with the Dolby Atmos track just like the UHD.

Well, it's amused me anyway.
Well I did say I don't have the disc yet and it was purely based on viewing the iTunes stream.

I am still not convinced by how it looks.
The worrying aspect is it has a scrubbed look.
As always YMMV

We have seen a fair share of flawed 4K scans btw even if they made some corrections.

I will buy the disc only if I see solid reviews from trusted members.

These caps are tone mapped so give a better look at the grain. May have been "managed", but doesn't look scrubbed.

I think in these you can tell the fine detail boost in true film sections, but the handling of the upscaled parts is nothing to be impressed by. They've definitely done extra processing on those in some silly attempt to match the perceived detail of the 4K scan.

It is good that they made some corrections/alterations but would like more feedback.

Looks like the type of filtering done on some of the Disney Animated Classics. Once again, I will pull the trigger based on feedback from trusted members.

With the volume of 4K releases, I've stopped pre-ordering. Don't want to spend my hard earned money on so-so transfers.

My experience with iTunes streams are that they look pretty good but tend to leave out grain. Godzilla x Kong comes to mind for more recent titles. The UHD has significantly more grain than iTunes. Hopefully his will be the case for Shaun 20th.

Not exactly true but they do have some baked-in grain reduction settings when compared to MoviesAnywhere.

I also hope Shaun 20 was given the red blooded carpet treatment.

The images posted doesn't look convincing yet to my average aging eyes.

It's plainly a new scan of the film for non-VFX shots. Whether it's been fiddled with is another tale, but this IS a new transfer regardless. Can't wait to get it...if I can actually get the steelbook anywhere!

It was a fairly early release anyway, so I bet if it came out later it would've actually been properly remastered

So, the new UHD disc has a vynil disc art.. in UK, it's both discs with matching vinyl disc type art, but in Spain the Spanish distributor (Arvi) was lazy, didn't care to match and just uses the same old disc exact as it was before, with the original disc art, instead of making both discs with the vinyl style.

That's what I get for buying in Spain in my own country instead of outside. How sweet. It's not the end of the world but it's a nice detail that makes the package better and it sucks.

in italy discs have the vynal art but Plaion (italian distributor) decided to print the awful italian title on them (l'alba dei morti dementi... one of the worst adaptation ever)... on the other hand thanks to Plaion distributing Universal titles discs are now pressed at Sony DADC instead Vantiva...

Just looking though list of Also Known As on imdb, and every other title other that its original is laughably bad: Laughing dead, Everybody Almost Dead, Twilight of the Dead, The scratching of the dead, King of the Zombies, The despair of the dead, A rash of living dead, Zombies Party - A Night... of Death, Fight with zombies, Night of the Dumb Dead.
It's like a bunch of bad comedians trying to come up with a clever alternate name.

Call it OCD, call it whatever, I just think it's a nice detail that should've been kept and instead it's just plain lazy. And sticks out. But alas, importing it would've been more expensive, so..
