Exactly why I took no chances and just pre-ordered the UK release. Lunar 2, in particular, is a very important game to me personally, so I'm not going to risk any issues.

GungHo is posting more stuff on their Facebook, including new gameplay trailers and interviews, so keep an eye on them to see what is coming in the game.

So glad these classic games are finally getting some love. I hope that many other games(Breath of Fire 3, Castlevania SotN, Dragon Quest 8, etc.) get some remaster love in the near future.

Looking forward to replaying these soon. Even though the PS1 versions have some improvements, I still have nostalgia for the Sega-CD originals but my Sega-CD is dead.

The new VO cast for both games has been revealed on the GungHo Facebook page. I'm not familiar with any of the names, but they all look like up and comers.

Any difference performance-wise between the platforms? Trying to decide between Switch (physical) or steam?

Zero info so far. If I remember right the Suikoden Remasters are 60 everywhere but Switch. Different developer but it shows that even old rpg's that are "remastered" can be 30 fps on Switch.

This review says it's 60 with no way to change (via menus) on Deck.

PS5 and Xbox went live around 3am Eastern. Xbox disappeared for a bit. I managed to get a Switch order in around 6am.

Me too. It looks like it's being sold directly by the developer on Amazon (they show as a third party vendor). I was a little worried about missing out on a copy of this one.

I really enjoyed the PSP version of Lunar and am looking forward to experiencing the sequel for the first time.

Are the physical editions limited time release? Just bought PS4 physical but might get Switch physical as well for portable play and collecting purposes if this is limited.

The developer has said they will make stock available as long as there is demand but, given that this is an Amazon exclusive, my advice would be to get your Switch copy sooner than later.

They've been going in and out all morning. Also when I checked, the main search page clearly showed it was out of stock. It wasn't until I clicked into the product page that it showed available.

I was going to get the Xbox version but I'd rather get that digital for the Xbox Play Anywhere benefit. Might still grab the NS version while it is in stock though.

I'm still trying to figure out conflicting reports about the text translation. If anyone here plays this in the days/weeks ahead, can I get a confirm or deny on Nall talking Wheaties (1st game, 1st town), or (2nd game) Lemina giving Borgan the Chris Jericho descriptions?

In this podcast at ~21:40, Victor Ireland says they are using the original text in the remasters so I'd expect to see those classic/cringe (opinions vary) localizations here.

Yea, I'm hearing that they atleast started with that, but I can't seem to find out for certain the extent to which they stayed with it.

I can't imagine it would be that hard for them to have included a 'Classic' and a 'Literal' option for the scripts tho. It already has multiple language options so it would simply be a matter of adding another.
