Great news! But the other main characters should be on the cover art.

Christ alive...

Okay. I've never seen any of these movies. Ever.

I have been so put off by the discussion around bad transfers and revisionist, incomplete or just plain bad releases.

I never, ever do this... but I just pulled the trigger. All three... 4K... blind buys.

I recently picked up all three recent Kino BD only releases with slips even though I own the UHDs with them. Would not want redundant discs, but I will want Region A BDs.

Now if the region B BDs are grossly superior, I might pick those up, though I would be limited to what player can play them.

I just want to make sure before I bite the bullet and import these. As of right now the 4K listing on Arrow's website says these are Region B.

Right, and I do appreciate the irony of one of the forum's arch complainers telling people to manage their expectations! But these films in particular have such utterly rabid devotees that I don't think anything will ever be good enough for them. Let's just hope Arrow's QC is watertight on these and doesn't give people any reason to wig out about that at least.

Carrie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Great Escape, Silence of the Lambs; we have confirmation FIM did the encode for Lifeforce; etc.

Might as well hold out and wait to see if Arrow does a release in the UK. Every time, Arrow just does it better.
Ja, I haven't bought an MGM Kino or Shout in a good long while. Just can't be fooked buying just to sell it for buttons when the Arrow comes along.

To be honest I haven’t gotten around to watching the extras, but that wouldn’t be a surprise coming from Kino. Yes think I’ll sell now and take whatever I can get for them.

I only usually order from Atomic or Orbit. If you pre-order all these on one transaction, will Arrow wait till all are available for ship as they are released?

You could always cancel your order with Arrow later. They don’t charge you until it ships.

Yes. If you want them shipped as they release, you’ll have to place an order for each one individually.

Looks like I definitely need to buy a 4K Blu-Ray player in May as I still only have these films on DVD this is amazing, and I will definitely be pre-ordering all of them individually. Screw the Kino Blu-Rays, and 4Ks which I didn't buy I'm getting these instead.

Yeah, I just preordered all three from Arrow myself but I used a cc that is about to reach its limit so I can rest easy. Can't miss out on these.

That's for the Blu-ray edition and likely the included documentary disc.

That should be for the extras discs which are Blu-rays.

I cannot imagine the 4Ks themselves being locked.

Will these be FiM encoded?

For a Few Dollars More says "Fully uncut" in the product description. So presumably has the extra beating footage and well as the couple of extended shots that were missing on the Kino.
