It's really obvious against the blue background sky and when the camera bounces as they walk.

It's absolutely not frozen grain. It's a sheet or something being carried alongside the actors as they move, presumably to limit light or something. You can follow certain specks as it moves and see it shake around, and you can also see a shadow in the bottom right before the shot ends. Not entirely sure if that's actually the use for it (limiting light), but it looks too shaky to be rear projection (the background matches too well) and it just seems like two people carrying it.

Its part of Vinegar Syndrome's Cinématographe range and all of the previous titles in this range have had a standard release 4-6 months later.

I should have waited for that, as I hate this book packaging. Maybe I'm a weirdo but I store everything on the shelf in the simple case with poster art showing and put any outer packaging in the closet. Can't do that with these obnoxious huge books. Should have remembered how Red Rock West came. Arg.

Holy crap, this disc is amazing to look at. It's like the demo disc for mid-90s high quality film stock. I kept looking for signs of some kind of artificial enhancement but never saw any, the film just looks that good. Wow.

Movie is mid-tier action, but fun. Love seeing those REAL locations and REAL skydiving stunts. "They don't make em like they used to..." and all that.

I gave her a month off. I gazed at her everyday. She came today for another viewing. Still, without question! The best 4K catalog release of 2025. GEM.
