Even at £50, I don’t think it’s that good of a price for essentially three movies. I’m not going to watch Mirror Crack’d again anytime soon. I’m probably waiting for single releases, especially since I already own Kino’s Murder on the Orient Express.

£50 would be a good price even if it was only three new to 4K films, but despite what people say about the quality of each film, it’s still £50 for four films, so it’s a brilliant price.

Default Thank you!

Thanks for the heads-up on the price drop! Pre-order placed. For me it comes out to under $15 US per movie. Add in the physical tat and it's an unbelievable value. Was thinking I might wait for HDR to be confirmed but this is as no-brainer of a price as it gets.

They've already announced single releases.
They are also up for pre order.

The singles are £23 each so assuming you want at least two of the four films the boxset it’s a no brainer.

Two films would cost £46 whereas for £50 you get all four plus the booklet.

Amazon order placed for the box set. I originally ordered Evil and Nile on their own but am happy to pay an extra £5 for Orient and Mirror. Do Amazon usually honour pricing mistakes (if this was a mistake, that is)?

I was referring to another post by someone else. I have already got the box set on pre order.

£49.99 on Amazon UK for this is a no-brainer.

Death on the Nile is £22.99

Evil Under the Sun is £23.00

£46 for the two you don't have or the box currently for £4 more.

Sure it’s not necessarily a bad deal, especially if you want all four films, and need them at launch. But I expect a pretty good price per film if I buy a boxed set (especially when a dud like Mirror Crack’d is included). The singles will likely be around £15 each at some point and since I already own Kino’s Orient Express, I’m in no hurry.

I didn't say it was a bad price, just that it's about the price I expect if I buy a set of four films where one is of questionable quality.

Do we know if these will be in keepcases or digipacks?

Would expect some type of digipack. Maybe plastic trays in card if you look at the photos similar to Indicator boxset packaging. Don’t expect four plastic cases in a box.

I've just bought The Man In The White Suit, and that was in a digicase, similar to hammer and Powerhouse releases. (Although, looking at the size of the box in the pictures, it looks big enough for individual cases, but I think ultimately, they will be in a digicase).

Man that's a tempting price but the only boutique labels I would confidently pre-order from (as confident as one can be when doing a pre-order) would be Eureka & Indicator.

Radiance are also very reliable. Never had a duff one from them. Plus you need to pre-order their horror titles in particular as the LE version can sell out before release day.

I didn't even think of Radiance! I know 88 films have a top notch reputation as well so those two would also qualify as having a certain quality guarantee. I'm ashamed to admit I don't own any titles from either of those labels but I'm hoping to rectify that soon.

I see the German release is 5 films not 4 as includes Endless Night which SC licenced to Indicator in the U.K. a few years ago. Although the LE BD is OOP the general release version is still in print.

The German boxset is €120 as it is UHD + BD so 10 discs. SC still seem to include BDs with their UHDs in Germany but are starting to omit BDs here and hiving off to a separate release. We have that with Christie and recently with the Paddington trilogy release.

interesting to know if French/German endless night will have English sub, so that could be indicator (not intended pun) that SC UK plan to release it standalone later.
