@Rogers Tennis

I'm unsure if that was directed at me, but that isn't an option.

My options are either the Aquos LCD, or the LG Plasma.

Or a 60" Sharp Aquos 240Hz LCD tv (LC-60E88UN).

I already have the 60" Aquos here, but I have to return due to 3 dead pixels (TV is less than 12h old).

So, I can return it for another Aquos, or I can get the LG Plasma.

I love my BD movies, and HD gaming.

What woudl your opinions be? Which unit should I get? Should I just stick with the LCD Aquos? OR opt for the LG Plasma.

Thanks.
The LG has a very reflective screen. If your room can't be light controlled, stick with the Sharp. Of the 2, I'd prefer the Sharp.

I just bought a blu ray player and i got home and hooked it up i turned on the tv and when i started my movie i didnt look the way they look at retail stores...got told to get an hdmi cord and i tried that...it worked swell but it didnt give it that look you see at best buy...it just gave way better resolution...i looked on the forums and well i was told in order to get that resolution i had to have a 120 hz tv and i have a 60 hz tv...well by what people said they said that by turning on "Film Mode" on your blu ray or tv...they said it would give it that picture like being filmed by a handheld camera...but not as good as 120 hz....i have a Vizio VO370M 37 Inch hdtv 1080p Eco TV...someone answer me this....is it true if i turn on the film mode for blu ray or tv it will look like its being filmed by a handheld camera???...if so which one do i turn on the tv one or the blu ray one? or both? someone answer me....also the film mode said that it cadence to 24 fps from 60fps or something to make a handheld camera quality..i like that quality!!!! i have the hdmi cord and the 1080p hdtv with 60 hz....Someone answer soon!!!!!!

Here's another helpful article by Gary Merson at HDGuru.com that sets the record straight on the differences between LCD and plasma displays: http://hdguru.com/how-not-to-choose-...medium=twitter . He deconstructs a recent video tutorial put out by Sony on how to choose the right HDTV.
