I like a handful of Clint movies, Outlaw Josey Wales and Unforgiven are exceptional. others like firefox, not so good.

I think Mel surprises me the most.

I just feel more emotion in Mel's movies, a visceral energy. Where Clints movies at times feel sterile.

Clint Eastwood was the easy choice for me. I thought I was going to have to make a decision, but Affleck wasn't on the list. Both I prefer as directors.

Eastwood or Gibson, but I'm a Howard fan as well.

Clooney started off well, but I haven't cared for his work since The Ides of March. Hopefully his new Netflix movie is good.

Surprised Affleck, Redford and Beatty aren't on the list. I also think Jason Bateman's TV work shows a lot of promise.
