I wanna be able to throw my lightsaber too!!! Even though it was a 'short' demo, I still think that its a good one to judge whether or not you'll like the game.

I will definately keep my pre-order with Amazon as I can tell that it will get more and more fun as your character progresses through the game.

You can. hold R2 to lift an enemy and then press square.

Think I'm going to just rent this. I wasn't too impressed, just seems like a lot of button mashing. I like the apprentice better on the SCIV. lol

The demo was fun but one thing that i have a problem with is that he does not block very well. If you are running into a heated battle and there are blasters going off everywhere he just kind of takes the shot. Have to admit that sucked alot the ATST was kind of hard. Overall this game is going to be fantastic.

for some reason i cant get my sourround sound speakers to work with this game anyone know why? i tried going going to audio setting but nothing

I wasn't super impressed after a single play-through. The interactivity is pretty limited. I think it's dumb that after you Force throw an object once you can never Force it again. It's also silly that you can't slice any of the containers... just the droids. Blowing up the TIE fighters was underwhelming. Don't know if I was just doing it wrong, but I couldn't deflect blaster bolts back at shooters. Force push opened up doors and moved boxes, but it didn't affect the rest of the environment at all. Everything just seemed really limited. The graphics were ok, but the apprentice's face reminded me more of Spider-Man 3 than it did MGS4.

Played through the demo a couple of times and enjoyed it alot. i got quite effective force throwing stuff around. somthing very satisfiying about sending a load of enimies flying like skittles
Still i think ill probs just rent cause i think one play through will be enough for me, however if it was getting trophy support i would buy it. funny how trophies are effecting my purchases

Dolby Digital worked fine for mine. do you have it set to bitstream or PCM?

I heard a while ago that this game wouldn't have MP support. Was that just a rumor? Has anything changed with that?

I ask because Jedi Knight 2 was, hands down, one of my favorite MP experiences. I could write a strategy guide to the MP aspects of that game.....then they messed it all up with Jedi Academy.

Yeah i had to actually play through it like 3 times to really appreciate it.

Mixed feelings on this demo...of course it's too short to judge completely. I agree with a previous poster about the fact that you can't slice through containers like you can droids (a little part of me died inside).

I do like the force push through doors and some of the graphics are quite good looking...but I wasn't looking forward to more bad facial expressions.

Throwing an object seemed kind of strange, just point the direction you want to throw it? I wonder if this is changed later on to actually being able to target a specific enemy to throw at (an example of his "unrefined" force powers).

Overall an entertaining and nearly-solid demo, but not enough time to really get a feel for the game (I wish they had included a forest level or something, so we could see the wood splintering effects that they were so proud of). I'll most likely be waiting to purchase this one as a used copy or trade for it, not worth the full $60 to me.

loved the game, i just sat there destroying tie fighters

but i got bored quick.. it got too repetitive for me too quickly, im sure the actual game will have a lot of cut-scenes in between to get rid of that boredom (hopefully)

but ill pick it up for sure
