With the success of The Departed it would be nice to see the Infernal Affairs trilogy
get released but I think Disney has the original and The Weinsteins have 2 & 3.
They have Sha Po Lang too ; they renamed it something awful like "Kill Zone".
Man, do I loathe the Weinsteins.

I'd really like to see A Clockwork Orange, The Shining and mostly all Stanley Kubrick films to Blu-Ray. Also: Almost Famous, Fallen, Boogie Nights, 21 Grams, and Point Break

Yeah, right after i posted that i started researching just to see if the SD would be out anytime soon and then i saw that Warner chat on hometheaterforum.com. Awesome news. Hopefully it will actually make it to the market.

I Saw this in Theater(the only one in Seattle that Still had a 70 mm) and I loved it, and got in on VHS after waiting for it on DvD for years.

There is no question, when this hits BR, I'll Buy it.

Ghost in the Shell is my most wanted Blu-ray. I'm not keen on Innocence's second half (after Batou gets a limb replaced) but I'd buy that and probably Spirited Away too.

All great suggestions; personally, I'd re-buy everything in Blu-Ray, but then again I was a LaserDisc guy, so I'll re-buy anything for better quality.
Still, the one movie I'm DESPERATE for in HD is, hands-down...

LAWRENCE OF ARABIA

It's from Columbia Pictures, which is owned by Sony. C'mon guys, it oughta be a no-brainer to put out there!

As always, since I think 1080p clarity and large format photography would be a great match (first time on home video where you could see how great some of these films can look) (The Searchers and Chronos are a great start) I'd love to see more 70mm, 55mm, Technirama, CINERAMA, IMAX, and VistaVision films released. Of course 4k scanned from the large Format elements, and original multichannel mix positions presserved

How The West Was Won
2001: A Space Odissey
Lawrence of Arabia
Sleeping Beauty
South Pacific
Oklahoma! (30fps version)
Around The World In 80 Days (both 24fps and 30fps versions)
The Sound Of Music
My Fair Lady
West Side Story
Ben-Hur
The Rise And Fall Of The Roman Empire
The Greatest Story Ever Told
The Ten Commandments
North By Northwest
To Catch A Thief
White Christmas
The King And I
Carousel
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Cleopatra
Hello Dolly
It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World
The Alamo
Ryan's Daughter
Baraka
King Of Kings
El Cid
The Pink Panther
Solomon And Sheba
Circus World
Brainstorm (35mm/70mm)
The Wonderful World Of The Brothers Grimm
Patton
Tron
The IMAX films
etc

Also some regular 35mm films have been made with Large Format 70mm/VistaVision SFXs

STAR WARS
The Empire Strikes Back
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Star Trek; The Motion Picture
ST II: The Wrath Of Khan
Close Encounters Of The Third Kind
Blade Runner

If the elements survive..
Gotta love a guy that not only knows his movies, but knows their formats!
