I can't decide whether or not I like There Will Be Blood. I thought D.D. Lewis was great, but I didn't find a great deal else to like.

Let me put it this way, If it is free -why not watch until it "Jumps the Shark" for you personally. However, I wouldn't pay for episodes or buy any seasons (Other than perhaps the first - which was okay, not great. ).

the first season is good, watch it and then see if you can get past 2 or 3 episodes of the second season

are you referring to the "oh my god, da-da-da, and then he said, then i said, but then it was all wrong and i had to listen to WHam while shaving my legs on acid" type dialogue? My wife's name is lorelei and she watches this dreck all the time. I still haven't finished Band of Brothers because of this show.

I sometimes like the dialogue. It depends. The show is so off and on for me... and I just had to get the whole series because it was cheap x.x.

i just finished watching "the assasination of Jesse James". I cant decide if i liked it or not... im leaning more towards i liked it... it was a little slow at times but everything was done for a purpose i felt.. it was almost like a documentary with the narrator and giving brief history of Jesse during the movie... any opinions?

You liked it. It was a great movie, although yes, very slow and methodical. Very character driven. I don't know if I would watch it again, but it was definitely well done.

I loved that movie. Didn't know whether to hate or feel sorry for Robert Ford at the end of the movie. Like the way they did that with he narrator

I see what you mean. I didn't really care to see Jesse live either way, they were both crazy as hell.

I sure hope you did...the title of the film IS "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," after all

difference is... Jesse James was Jesse James from day 1... Robert wanted to be just like Jesse James.... in every way... and he even said, "I'm bound to be a great man" or something along those lines... so, it seemed to me, the reason he went about killing Jesse was to get notority.. which he did for a little while, but then people forgot about him all together... He didnt do it becuase he felt like it was the right thing to do, he did it because that was the only way he knew how to become a somebody

That must have been a different viewing experience then from the rest of us. I think the film takes on a tragic air of inevitability when you know the entire time that Robert Ford is going to be the one who kills Jesse James, much like the book For Whom the Bell Tolls by Hemingway.
